It is somewhat different case, and he might be the original author after all as Pmalek pointed out to same mistake in the spreadsheet regarding Ledger, and he replied that its been fixed, which it is if you check the spreadsheet and the article. If he has the rights to edit those then he is behind it after all. Unless that's been sorted before and then he jumped on it to sort of prove that he is the author.

It's possible to only install the Bitcoin app on your Nano device and no other apps, but that can't be considered as a Bitcoin-only firmware.
