Recently there was a thread in Economy section called 'In your country, today is money the real root of all evil?'. Thread was created in January 24, 2023 by a newbie. Last post was posted in February 17, 2023.
Now, Jr. Member user opened a new thread with the name 'Is money the real root of all evil?'.
I think that user called Susano copied it from somewhere else and then when his thread got blocked, a little later another user called New@User creates a new thread and quotes him.

According to BPIP Susano got banned at the same date where he posted this post, I thought he wouldn't get banned because he was write "Quote" on the post, moderators saying if a poor quotation is still accepted and wouldn't get a punishment. Maybe he got banned on the other post since the merit he got belong to deleted post.

But New@User high likely will end up in the same path like Susano because there's no sign if he was took from the other source.

I've never had any accounts "hacked" what I have done though is lock myself out with these security options, how ironic right? I have however had people try to get into my accounts. Some is trying to get into my epic games account. My cointiply account has nothing in it even and someone keeps trying to get in. Noone got into either of these though. The password just kept resetting and sending to my email. No attempt has been made to get into my gmail account which I have owned for over 10 years now I think.

I basically just read a guide and used my common sense by thinking from a hackers perspective. So no personal links to anything like birthdays or hobbies just like the OP has said.
I never use the same password over even use partly the same password. Each are unique I use bout 16 characters and use upper and lower case, numbers, symbols. I mix these up so I don't have two numbers together and I I try not to repeat a character.

Here are some examples of a password I would make.

J6f&E1p3%8*G2L*F#7

I also can't understand when I see bounty hunters asking managers to change their address because it was hacked. I think it must be phishing. Always verify any website you want to enter login info on using a whois website. Make sure the websites match up. If they don't then you will lose your account due to phishing. My eth account passwords are very long like a private key and I encrypt the place where I copy-paste the password from. I use nod32 antivirus. I always check and match the clipboard too. I do this at least 3x I also keep 3x backups of my personal info. 1 an usb the other 2 on external hdds. The folder in ecrypted and password protected using 7zip. I keep the password to the 7zip file written down in 3 different places 1 being my safe.

I am not saying I will never be hacked. What I am saying is that it would be very very difficult even with the best social engineering. Since everything is completely random not even I know my passwords or even part of them.

I am also pretty sure that being careful will take care of 99% potential hack attempts.

One last thing I do is I link my accounts with F2A and I link my accounts to my phone number or to IP address.

The IP address works very well. No other IP but mine can login to my website for example. They can try use a vpn it won't work since the need the exact IP.

Gambling among youth remains a salient problem that is less recognised as a social menace among education stakeholders and researchers. This is because it is a common phenomenon that is considered as recreational activity and even legalised by Nigeria government through which revenue are generated (tax collected from the owners of various gambling companies). However, experts (Derevensky, Gupta, Dickson & Deguire, 2004; Chimezie, 2015) have noted that it causes more harm to the youth and the society than the good it may seem to portray. In view of this, this paper presents the update on problem gambling among Nigeria youth; looking at its prevalence, forms, the industry, causes and effects, empirical review of previous studies and its counselling implications. It was concluded on this basis that counselling programmes should be organsied in town halls of every community to sensitise the citizens on the danger inherent in gambling and reshape or change people’s perception positively on gambling behaviour.
       Gambling can be defined as any activity (a game of chance or skill) where an item of value is placed at risk in an attempt to gain something of greater value. Gambling is taking a risky action in the hope of a desired result. Gambling exists in different forms but varies in popularity among different groups and classes of people; some of those forms include lotteries, casinos, sport betting, poker, gaming and pool betting. Gambling is a big business globally to the extent that it is now taxable and regulated as a legitimate business. Such as Surebet, Bet9ja, NairaBet etc.
#Problem gambling among Nigerian youths
    Problem gambling or gambling addiction or gambling disorder has been defined as a bio-psychosocial disorder characterised by a persistent and recurrent maladaptive pattern of gambling behaviour. Problem gambling affects people of all ages, from adolescents as young as 10 to adults in their senior years. Big betting companies have staff strength running into hundreds; and through their associate and affiliate networks, they offer agents a source of livelihood from commissions earned as people engage in betting. A study has revealed in its findings that 26% mentioned ‘timely payment’ as the main factor that influences their choice. This was closely followed by respondents who believed it is the ‘odds/stake placed on a game’ (24%). Other determinants mentioned include ‘reputation for payment’ (21%), ‘ease of use’ (15%) among others. Finally, analysis of results revealed ‘quest for quick money’ (30%), ‘Unemployment’ (21%) and ‘greed’ (15%) topped the list of reasons why Nigerian, particularly the youth engage in gambling. Its effect is devastating to the perpetrator, the family and the society at large. When the money stops coming the way of a gambler, he may engage in drugs in frustration. In trying to escape poverty and play roles in the financial upkeep of their families, many youths have chosen to indulge in gambling to put food on their family’s table. Unfortunately, the most active participants in this trade are youths whose main objective is the desire to get rich at all cost and crush any obstacle that might stand against their desire rather than striving to achieve success through good means.

I found the post worth sharing with the forum and since it has all the names in the post, I skipped adding a link thinking the name references in the brackets were serving same purpose and I understand it was a very silly mistake of mine and that was why I had to take the entire post down since I thought wrong.

Relax buddy, I don't think that you will get perma banned for something like this (and I don't think that you should if this was the only time you forgot to include reference). Few years ago maybe, but lately mods became more lenient to similar cases so chances for you bearing any consequence are slim to none. Then again, that's just my opinion.

By the way, when you are copy/pasting someone else's text, its not enough (at least it shoulnd't be) to just share reference link at the bottom as you should also make a clear difference your own words, and the one that you copied. Just sharing sharing reference link is enough not to get banned, but its a bad posting style.
