My guess:  He locked the thread out of massive embarrassment because he terminally screwed something up and just realized it.  (I mean besides the whole no windows binaries, being late, genesis block fail, difficulty set to 0, etc.)

Charlie Kelly: I'm pleading the 5th.  The Attorney: I would advise you do that.  Charlie Kelly: I'll take that advice under cooperation, alright? Now, let's say you and I go toe-to-toe on bird law and see who comes out the victor?  The Attorney: You know, I don't think I'm going to do anything close to that and I can clearly see you know nothing about the law.

lol, he just locked the thread

don't blame him ... too many crybabies in this forum crying over something that didn't arrive on time that they put absolutely no effort into lol....  "self entitlement forums"

errr probably most crying that it's only open to linux right now and those that can compile the windows binaries, and since the programmer himself has no clue how to do it then it's pretty much a joke coin now. Linux premine coin is the correct name.

My guess, he got sick of people asking for windows and complaining about the issues.

Who else is there to blame? Perhaps Satoshi is to blame for making the code too complicated for him.

Good summary.

I got locked out of the 1,700 coins I mined on the original Linux client.
The windoze client doesn't even recognize those coins.

The windoze block chain reports a different (larger) count than the Linux block chain... so my coins are lost.

For all the bickering and fighting... only 2 things came out of it for me.

1) I lost all the coins I worked so hard to mine since last night.
2) I cannot trust Milkshake OR Hazard with any coin launches (sorry).

Back to regular business.

I will NEVER ask for any kind of funds up front in a buy/sale of anything on bitcointalk.
