I guess investing in Top 10 coins from http://coinmarketcap.com/ is pretty good starting point.

I'm not sure how long the situation will last, but good opportunities will always be there! It just a matter, if you can recognize it from all those distractions which looks even better.  If you invest in top 10 for small risk you can get gain, but if you invest under 100 in list then expect much bigger profit also risk is much higher.

totally agree, I bought ETH one week ago now the price have been more than doubled, and I bought LTC this morning now it has gone up 30%, and I'm still holding

Even though you would be somehow late since there already have been major increases recently, I would of course recommend you Ethereum. This is one of the few altcoins I trust entirely, and the sole one that I trust and that I am sure that it will rise in the future. My original call was 0,1BTC/ETH after the PoS transition, I am reevaluating to 0,15BTC/ETH, considering the past trend at short-term.

Bancor will become the right decision for you, but i just suggest you to buy ethereum and make it as your portofolio, And you can see in their history how the more good development come from them.

Look at byteball, factom, monero and ether.

Also, look also some ETH contract coins,there are many of those which is very promising. As of now, NEM and Ripple are doing great. You might inlcude sia coin,eth,litecoin or check the top 10 in coinmarketcap website.

There are quite a few threads where people tell what coins they invested in, i would recommend checking it out. As for me, i would recommend you to invest in Etherium, Darcrus, Iconomi, Stratis and if you want to disperse coins even more, you can also get Ark, Edgeless and any other coins you might find on the threads

Diversify into multiple coins, if you don't know which then you can do so indirectly with iconomi because they are basically like an altcoin fund and they have shown to make good decisions on avoiding shitcoins.

There are lots of coins which do have potential and mostly are on the top of marketcap but its not always like that because there are still coins on below which do have also potential which we can able to purchase just like on XRP before it give me enormous amount of profits and still growing I think its not to late to jump on the boat on this alt.
