I would say no.
This is an advanced move in the sense that you are absolutely sure that your cards are setup correctly (undervolt,CC,MC) in terms of power draw EVERYTIME prior to running the mining S/W such that you won't overload the cable.
I would only do this if I were waiting for a repair part.
As an extreme example from a mistake of mine, I had a sapphire 580X nitro+ LE on quiet mode. I didn't set it up and this card runs 1411/2000 out of the box. These settings consume about 2X the power that I normally run it at. Several of these on one molex cable would have cooked it. I generally avoid actions which require continuous perfection in any mining setup.
There are many posts in this forum and in the ethereum forum which discuss more precisely cable power limits.
Molex should have 11A max, that's not even for 2 cards
I read very different posts, one say 2 cards per 1 molex other say 3 is no problem. I think it very depends on PSU and cable quality. I think Corsair should be very good one, but I will buy third molex modular cable so I can run 2 cards per 1 cable. I will also try 3 cards for test because my mobo should run up to 8 gpus...
Thx guys.
