Awesome!  I was already a fan of Khan academy, but this is great.  Reaffirms the fact that Bitcoin is only going to get more and more popular.

Summer vacation are outdated concept. You should always at the minimum takes one hour to learn something new or practice old skills everyday.

Very nice and clear explanation. I wonder if Bitcoin experts have found any faults in it?

They don't really get a summer vacation.  They have several "required" books to read beside their own books, and they usually start science fair projects for the next year, plus they spend about 30 hrs a week working for Bees Brothers.

Learning some cryptography and Quickbooks are the two big topics for this summer.

But these tutorials will be something we can watch together that they would be interested in.

I wrote him a few months back to ask him to do a series on bitcoin.  Salman seemed like the perfect guy for this.  Really glad he did it.

You didn't even read the thread or watch the video! The voice is clearly not Sal.

True, I was at work, so I didn't have the time to watch it.

Big fan of Khan Academy.

I started watching the first video, and found it very not coherent. No mistakes, just not coherent.

Really? I went through the whole series. I thought they were very cohesive all the way through.

It may be that I was just ready for this level of detail at my current state of awakening, but I thought these were incredibly useful to me.

Thanks.

Yup I'm a bit new to khan academy but I think its awesome.  Bringing together a lot of great material.

And the speed is just perfect for 2x listening.  Actually 2x sound is even more awesome.  Gets you through material even faster.

So, they published the videos under MONEY, BANKING AND CENTRAL BANKS.

Good decision.  I watched quite a bit of finance stuff.  The info is interesting.

KA dev here. You can also find the videos on Khan Academy itself.

I expect the people reading this forum to know much more about bitcoin than a lot of the people watching these videos, so I encourage you to help out answering the questions being asked below the videos!
