Because science is not perfect, at least not at the moment. Real perfect science is like true communism, it will probably never happen. Humanity will always uncover new truths about the world we live in and science will change accordingly. If a person does not see something or can not prove it with the help of theorems, it does not mean that it does not exist. Everything is permeated with magic, it is all around us. In occasion of dream still there are many different conjectures, but in occasion of that that the person the lefty or the right-hander for a long time it is proved, that on it development of the right or left hemisphere of a brain influences.

That is because science is vast. There are numerous unanswered question in the world. Science focuses on more "important" unanswered question than those that couldn't help humanity. The aim is to explain and contribute, not just explain answer from whichever question comes first. It needs deep studies, research to be precise. Science is perfect on explaining things, but science is not perfect on answering all the questions each person have.
