Welcome back to EPL everyone, don't forget to enter predictions! As can be expected, some of our favourite players are nursing injuries from their WC qualifiers. I don't really understand what happens in these games that break even beasts like Sadio Mane, and just before meeting our arch rivals too! Six weeks without Mane, I'm really gutted =(

Anyway, I've decided to KEEP my 3-0 Liverpool prediction, so if that happens, I'll be happy to only get 40 points this week.

Great that premier league is back. This week based on the games that are playing sounds one of the most difficult so far so I expect a lot of surprises tomorrow. I would be very happy with 50 points this week.

I may do very small 4th and 5th consolation prizes just to make it a bit more interesting for others and an incentive to keep playing, especially with the pot having nearly doubled.

My picks this week are weirdly exactly the same as cicciobtc's choices with the exception of three.

Week 8 was a disaster so far for me and for everyone who hasn't played a bluff (bluff means to bet on the least favorite of teams ,when teams with huge difference are playing like in Crystal Palace vs Chelsea game). I have only 30 points from 3 correct results ,Liverpool draw, Tottenham win and Man.City win. Lol now that I see it I got 40 as I have placed 2-0 on Crystal Palace while I wanted to place 0-2 on Chelsea .

At least you got 40 points, my predictions were terrible and I got only 30 points from Tottenham, Swansea and City.

Yeah, I only got thirty points as well. StephenCurry got 40 points on the Liverpool vs Manchester United 0-0 draw so he'll likely still be top unless ajaxmoor got some big points.

OK, so I stopped playing my bluffs this week (I almost always choose draw results for the Big 4 except Liverpool) but then Chelsea and Arsenal go ahead and make me smile ruefully (not that my draws would have gotten points anyway!).

Doubt anyone would have predicted City's 7-2, so am relieved (sorry guys) that my 30 points total so far hasn't pushed me down as badly as I thought. Still in eighth place, but well done to those who predicted the 0-0 draws (stephen your Under 2.5 bet on the other thread was a great pick).

@hilarious: 4th and 5th consolation gifts would be great, and I'm only too happy to agree. I'm having a lot of fun with this pool.

30 points here so that's 4 of us, there's so much unpredicted results this weekend I only manage to hit one of them and it's watford winning against arsenal. Good thing there's no movement on the upper to middle part of the leaderboard so i'm satisfied with the results for now.

I guess you are the only one who predicted Arsenal to lose, maybe someone else had it draw also but I had 1-2 correct result for Arsenal and I was hoping until last minute that they would score, but in fact they conceded a goal in that minute.

Yeah, but that can change with the remaining games. I just got a perfect score thanks to a 90 minute pen from Rooney haha. Anyone else get 1-1? I see cicciobtc did and Step got 10 points for the draw. If I can get another 40 points from the remaining two games it won't have been a bad round in the end.

Wow. I had both of last night's games at 1-1 but then decided to change them both to Everton and  Newcastle winning at 2-1. So I lost out on 50 points for a fickle mind. Just goes to show what happens when emotions rule at betting haha...

Even if I get a correct outcome tonight, this will be my lowest scoring week. rickbig41's the only one so far to have more than 100 points. I guess eality forgot to put his picks in again?

Last game of Leicester isn't helping either, I had them 1-0 correct result and now they are 1-1 already, let's hope they score so I get another 10 point and make this not another worse week, 50 points is acceptable. Anyway before this one I had 2 great weeks so I hope next one to recover a bit.

Yeah StephenCurry killed it again, I did my predictions yesterday, might need to have another look at them in a bit. I have had a couple of bad weeks.

I will make mine tomorrow, let's see, I am pretty confident that this week surely will make more than 50-60 points in order to have a chance until the end of this betting pool to win a prize. Premier League is unpredictable but that's the beauty of it and that's why is considered the best league in the world to watch.
