Stuck transaction due to low fee, entire wallet disabled.

So I imported some private keys to electrum from an old multibit wallet because it has a set, and now far too low, fee. Sent it from electrum to my phone wallet (mycelium) with the lowest fee electrum would accept (dumb fucking move), and it has now been stuck for 5 days.

I read that with some wallets you can spend more than your total confirmed balance with a high fee in order to force the unconfirmed balance to be included and thus processed as if it had a high fee from the start, which is what I did with the phone wallet. But in this case all it did was send a transfer that will only be confirmed when the old unconfirmed balance has been processed. In effect the coins on my phone are all stuck until the first low-fee transfer eventually gets done.

Is there any way to unstick it? Bump the fee or whatever? And, does anyone have a best guess as to how long it might take before it goes through on its own?

You could try submitting the transaction's ID to this service at the start of each hour and hoping you get into the 100 free slots allowed each hour. Afterwards the viabtc pool includes the transaction in the next block it mines. However, competition for the free slots is so intense that you have to click the submit button exactly on the hour, a few seconds later is too late.

It's possible to do a child pays for patent transaction, but the sender can only do it if some change was sent back to a change address. The receiver can always do it.

As your mycelium wallet is the receiver you can create a new wallet in electrum using your mycelium wallet's seed words. All your mycelium addresses will then show up in your new electrum wallet.

Afterwards you could do a child pays for parent transaction from inside electrum with a very high fee to get the mycelium transaction confirmed.

They charged 0.0001 BTC per transaction last year, but probably want more now.

I faced a similar issue a few days back transaction not getting confirmed due to low fee but user "QuickSeller" got my transaction confirmed in minutes when I sent him 0.0001 BTC. He has access to some pool . PM him.

That's great news. Its been seven and a half hours since viabtc mined a block. Its normally faster than that, but sometimes there are 12+ hour gaps between its blocks. I was hoping you wouldn't have to wait 12+ hours.
