Anybody using Ledger Nano S as a wallet? Please share your experience
Thanks

I have been using Ledger Nano and it's awesome.

The only thing is that you have to get the app itself on your laptop first before you can use it. Security wise it is pretty much the same as Trezor except some people may like the Trezor design better than ledger because it seems more fancy etc.

Just go with Ledger mate, you can't really make a mistake with it. And if you decide to dump it because you hate it - it costs way less than a trezor as well.

Thanks bro.Good info. What are the problems associated with it?What will happen if chrome supported third party apps gone corrupted bcoz u save your coins into Nano using those apps?

What do you mean by chrome applications? You mean the extensions that are being installed?
Is there some kind of wallet like that?
I am not really familiar with it so i want to know more.
But still most of the people here are either using an online wallet or the offline one which will be installed in your computer.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

I think you should just pick the trusted wallets out there..
Its better to be safe than sorry, 1 mistake is all it takes to lose something you have worked hard for.

Currently, there are many types of wallets to contain Bitcoin. Online wallet on the web, wallet software, paper wallet, .... Online wallet on the web are pretty such as coinbase, blockchain, coinpayment, xapo, ... they also have phone application for you can check every time. However, this type of wallet is vulnerable to hacking and you can lose money. For wallet software, you need to download the computer, install and use as normal software, can still be hacked but this is quite little. The paper wallet is safe, the wallet is printed and only you know it, but you need to keep it safe and don't get torn. That is my understanding  Grin Cheesy

I read one or two review about this wallet and I found it also here. I am actually curios about to try it. A friend also use this one. It seems reliable.

Anybody using Ledger Nano S as a wallet? Please share your experience
Thanks

I have neverr used this kind of wallet but I do want to own one. They have added many protocol and coins in this small hardware wallet so it is very comfortable to use this wallet to hold multiple kinds of coin. I am using electrum wallet and I find that it is very cool.

Ledger Nano S is the only hardware wallet I used and it's amazing, never did I expect it to be this combination of safe and relatively easy to use, the price isn't expensive in many ways, IMO a good investment to secure your coins.

Great experience for few months now, Easy to use and appear quite resilient, in addition to the main features regarding security, considering the price it's sold at then it's a sale in a way. much better than a regular USB with a txt file as your wallet.

I only see the ledger Nano option on Myetherwallet and i Don't know if it safe to used that since im currently using those wallet who's been popular on my country and that is coins.ph, This wallet can make us do any Btc to PHP withdrawal anytime we want and I think i will not used another wallet since im get used to it and conteb=nted for their service given.

So better seek those wallet that can give you at ease upon using and not those wallet that can give you some hassle.

My vote is for the Trezor and not that expensive in the grand scale of things.

I was unaware that many people are unfamiliar with ledger nano S. I haven't used it personally but I have read pretty good reviews about it, OP if you are considering buying this then make sure you read all about it in its website and also some 3rd party reviews. Alternatively there always is Trezor, you can buy it without any second thoughts.
