Turn $10,000 into 1 Million

Finding my portfolio sitting in a similar position to yours (i.e. nothing too crazy over the last couple of months, ha...). Mine actually did have a reasonable BTC position, but I've burned (profit-taking) a substantial portion of it transferring into both fiat and these favorable BTC/alt ratios.

Still seeing a creeping decline in alts after my rebalancing, so I'm only up like...2% in fiat after all is said and done (more if you include BCH, which I'm hodling until something interesting happens). On the flip side, while my fiat value hasn't moved up, I'm holding a lot more alts than I was, so here's hoping for that next wave.

I'm also finding (rare) little arbitrage opportunities where an Alt/BTC ratio differs from its ETH ratio. Been able to acquire an extra couple % by being choosy and running the more favorable conversion.

Also not sure if I'm happy or sad that I'm not sitting on alts like NEO/IOTA/etc. I don't really have time swing trade, much less babysit P&Ds. Just jelly that stuff I didn't trust in June/July (ICO hype) is still up like...800%. >.>

You still trusting MCO? Don't own any, but it's retracing down enough that I'm observing it. For some reason I didn't realize it was just an ERC20 token. Was more cautious when I thought it was it's own currency entirely.

Wondering what your dollar gains are at this point? wasn't able to see.  If you not comfortable with posting fair enough but would make for a better thread .

Also, you actually holding ltc right now? i cant see how ltc could out perform btc over next year or 2. Anyhow good luck, will keep an eye on updates.

Fairly steady, diversified portfolio - if I’d only just given a little weighting to the BTC trade. Can’t backtrack, but sure can learn. I made a cycle related misjudgement, as can be clearly seen in the chart below (that’s a few days old, but still serves its purpose).

Nonetheless, “cycles” are far from written in stone, and the direct and inverse relationships with BTC also come and go.

In any event, with my main holdings looking like the charts below, showing intuitively understood bullish TA: price is obviously moving from lower left to upper right, I'm happy with where it is and current positioning. It’s just a matter of time for breakouts, and, well . . . for another doubling or tripling?

What things are doing in USD terms is obviously what’s more important IMHO.

Edit: Forgot to tell you that I sold roughly .2 BTC worth of MCO yesterday night (hence the increase in BTC). That's all folks!

if by chance the price of one of the coins you are holding goes to moon, and you decide to invest on other coins, than their prices go to moon one by one.

I'm traveling on vacation right now. As I said in my last weekend update, I won't be updating until I get back, but with the spikes in my XMG and MCO long shots, it's necessary to do a drive-by. Obviously had sell orders in on everything, and sold about 75% of my XMG and 2/3, more or less, of my MCO, based on my "in my head math" from the less user friendly mobil website. Now got a sell order in on all that BTC in the low 5 thousands - my BTC target for now.

Now if we can just get the larger cap, more conservative, alts to do something, that would be great. Everything is valued in USD, so at least I'm not getting hurt by them. I don't have the hard data with me, but I estimate that the portfolio has increased by another 20% or so.

I know you have this thread, for months now, but please please please pleaaaaaaase may you start a blog? Even a free blogspot or wordpress or something. I'm really interested in following you in this endeavour and I think a blog would remove all the noise from the other posts here( for easier reading on my part and yes this may be a self indulging request). You seem like a really intellectual person and I'd like to follow pretty much anything your have to say on anything digital asset based trading(again, might be another self indulging request because I may just end up copying your movements and positions )

but jokes aside, I think having a blog regarding your portfolio or any other projections you might have would serve you really well, if you have the time for it of course. Any one else agree?

That would only happen if you invest your money wisely and its not going to just turn to 1 million overnight or in a month, it’s a gradual process and you should be patient enough for your investment to mature so you can feast and party hard
