Ripple ? Jesus, I never want to get struck with any centralized system even they do call themselves as more decentralized than bitcoin ecosystem. In recent times XRP found more than 500% growth but their tx per sec not even matching what bitcoin's 1%. Hence it must be a blind pump and may fall into blood bath any time.

I would rather go with LTC in expectation of Lightning network :
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MpfvhiqFw7A this will really be useful and will improve many things.

Nothing cannot change fact that XRP is centralized, probably will going to has some success and loyal users, but this doesn't  attracts me.

Which coin has more potential, what do you think?

Honestly I prefer litecoin because it is a true crypto currency in the tradition of bitcoin, compare to ripple who is centralized and an unlimited supply, litecoin is a sure winner than ripple who is just a pump and dump coin.

I'm a fan of litecoin.
It's always been around with bitcoin and it has a great potential.

Adding to that, recent segwit implementation adds more to it.

I've seen a lot of people talking about ripple but it's not what I'd invest my money in.

If you want a coin that can be broken at any time, due to some new technology that disrupts the mining process, you should go for LTC.

LTC all the way.

Aside from it being a more stable and advanced version of bitcoin (cheaper tx costs, faster confirmation times), it has a clearer roadmap to success. In the end, what matters is if it is simple enough for people to use and adopt on a massive scale, and LTC does just that.

Although LTC is not discussed much in this forum, you can check out http://reddit.com/r/litecion
For their 2017 roadmap you can check: http://litecoin.org

I like XRP. Ripple can confirm transactions in 8 seconds and perform thousands of transactions/s. This is the main feature why banks want to use ripple for inter currency transactions.

Which coin has more potential, what do you think?

obiously ltc, ltc has a pow phase backed by mining and a fixed supply, not to mention thgat litecoin is seen well as the lite version of bitcoin, instead ripple is centralized, with token issued at will by their authority, with potential infinite supply, not worth the effort to explain why ripple is far worse than litecoin

Both are great investments in my opinion, but i think ripple could give you better profits. A lot of people complain that it's centralized, but that's mostly a problem for people like us, who are interested in cryptocurrency and understand how it works. We do not represent the mass population who still fears decentralisation because of their 'if there's no authority to control it, how do we know it's safe'-mentality. Those people will be convinced by bankers and financial advisors to invest in ripple rather than bitcoin and litecoin because it's simply a lot more controlled, and therefore a lot safer. We of course know this is not always the case, but the vast majority of the world doesn't, hence why the marketcap for cryptos is still so incredibly small compared to others. Personally i've had countless people refuse to invest in cryptos because they simply don't trust it. Ripple is a lot more thrustworthy thanks to it's centralisation, and can therefore see a lot more adoption in the upcoming years.

If you are looking mainly for profit in short run or for trading purpose you should surely go with ltc. On other hand xrp is a coin which is more like a business related coin, even though it's features are not famous but i have seen news that some companies are planning to adopt it. Xrp is more like a long term investment but yeah there is a chance of xrp failing also.
If you can wait for long term and willing to take the risk go with xrp othereise ltc is also a good coin.

Ripple is more of the same shit. Central companies middlemen are unnecessary and not needed they are nothing else as leeches.
Until now only a few million xrp's have been released sporadically by Ripple from next month 1 Billion will be released every month. Couple of days ago the first Bank already announced to create its own token and use Ripple, others will follow, begs the question who is using XRP then.

I'm not sure if you're statements are correct...  many of xrp is already circulating, now a couple of million. THey have a lockup for the 50billion which are left.

the bank who creates it's own token, must also create liquidity... how will they do that? You need liquidity, a token on itself is nothing.

If you want to invest for profit, I'd say Ripple has more potential to bring you bigger profits. So I'd definitely recommend Ripple because at the moment the price is quite low and probably best to get in, because most probably, its gonna go quite high in the near future.
