Hi guys, here is the code (the copy and pasted ID to clipboard code) for my transaction -1284af9b40091467aad76f26e2f4b47eaa67254a53696e127fdbf09503c32adc

Can you please update me as to it's progress? Usually transferring takes no more than 1 hour from my bitcoin
wallet to a site but it's been two days. And if I need to re-send can you advise me how?

Best regards

Rob

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Your fee is considerably lower than the typical fees needed for a transaction to confirm. If you wanted to resend it, you would likely need to perform either a CPFP transaction (if there are sufficient funds sent to a change address you control), or double-spend (by taking Electrum offline, creating a new transaction with the same inputs as the stuck one and a considerably higher fee, signing it, and broadcasting it using a tool like bx or a node that hasn't seen your original transaction)

I have recently become active again after a long period of inactivity. Cryptographic proof that my account has not been compromised is available.

Thanks for the swift response!

The thing is this transaction fee is higher than my usual! It's about $90. Is that nowhere near enough? I also don't know how to do the two things you suggested. I will check the service link you sent. Is there no way to let this transaction through and I will always go higher in future. best regards

Your transaction fee was definitely nowhere near $90. According to blockchain.info the fee was about $0.23.

I currently have the same thing with my transaction. Fee at 50.222 sat/B which are default settings in Electrum. Should have been set to Dynamic fees in tools/settings.

I tried this https://www.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/ in the first minute of the hour and the accelerator succeeded. Will let you know if it worked for me.

Submitting to ViaBTC shortly at https://pscp.tv/thebutterzone (skip to 1:25)

Tip welcome when it confirms.

ETA: 22 confirms now
