I know localbitcoins, but this time I wish to explore some alternatives to buy BTC by bank transaction.

I am looking for a volume of 1-2 BTCs and I would prefer established companies with legit history.

What are my options?

Have you tried cex.io? They have both credit card and and bank wire deposit choices. As far as i know they are in the business for a long time and i don't know what makes them "legit" if not this. The only sad part about cex.io is that they are selling bitcoins a bit pricey. (around %10-15)

There are loads of sites you could use. If you're in the U.K. then Bittylicious is pretty good.
For buying worldwide you  could use Coinbase, Cex, Paxful, Bitbargain etc.
Google is your friend. He can find you a lot of sites.

In my personal opinion localbitcoins is quite good for buying through bank transaction. Also it is the one among the five licensed trading platforms. Hope you make it through bitcoin, else you can make it possible through the exchange websites that are available. Probably every exchange accept bank transaction depending on the country you reside.

I have done nearly 100 plus trades in localbitcoins. This is a right place the sell or buy the bitcoin with the trust worthy traders. You can have bank transfet, online wallets, paypal, payza and many more. You can have control on once you open the trade with the automated escrow powered. Other than localbitcoins, I suggest to try cex.io and paxful.

I think you should tell us what country you live in? since each country has their own local exchanger and own regulation. Anyway I do transaction with bank account to i don't know if it's working for some people who live in another country. What about coinbase i thought you can purchase bitcoin with bank transaction directly, isn't it? More over it is available in 32 countries. For example if you live in italy you can use your bank or credit card for purchasing bitcoin and we all know that it os trusted company.

My experience is questionable with some traders at localbitcoins, that is why I am looking for alternatives.
Where I am currently living, there would be a demand for more traders even at localbitcoins.

However, CEX seems to be a nice platform. Excellent reputation, you can buy ETH too and have multiple APIs.

I noted Paxful as well since you can buy BTC for PayPal there. PP is another payment processor I use.

Thank you for suggestion! I think, I can move on now.
