Hi,

Please let's recommend the best bitcoin wallet here, since blockchain has gone south!
nobody seem to understand the platform anymore...

I recommend MyCelium Bitcoin Wallet

What's yours?
I recommend conbase since it is one of the best online wallet where you can easily can in in your cannot using card i guess also try hardware wallet no one beat the hardware wallet when it comes in security i guess because it is offline no one could hack you wallet you just need to take care of the hardware.

For us Filipino, the only bitcoin available I know is Coins.ph, it allows us to do some transaction and also allows ua to convert bitcoin to our local currency. There are lots choices offered like converting bitcoin to prepaid load, there are also available transaction between electric and cable fee.The conversion of it into fiat can be redeemed from local money changer like Cebuana which makes it easy to access because it is available everywhere. Hoping that in the near future, bitcoin can also be used at retail stores.

Why MyCelium? I mean if you are going to suggest the best Bitcoin wallet it would be a good idea to explain why you chose the wallet.

Anyways, I would choose Electrum. I have used Electrum for quite a while now. In the beginning, when I was searching for a wallet I used Blockchain. Their service was good and I still use Blockchain for everyday transactions. But the bulk of my money is in Electrum. Electrum is similar to Bitcoin Core. In my opinion, it is better, because it doesn’t clog up the space in my laptop. I am thinking about switching to a hardware wallet … like a ledger nano or trezor. They are considered more secure to software wallets like Electrum. The problem is they can easily break or become lost. Something I don’t want to happen. If you looking for a wallet, I would recommend Electrum for laptop/desktop and MyCelium for your phone.

I would recommend that you get Bitcoin Core immediately. Do not store bitcoins online, specially now that UASF is coming. Remember that if your wallet is not supporting UASF, you will not recieve the split amount on both chains, only on the chain that the wallet is supporting.

As far as I know mycelium is an offline / online wallet . And about the UASF , for that online wallets were needed according to me . Like blockchain.info , so if you had that wallet then you would have claimed your BCH or BCC.

ellectrum and coinbase wallet ! i don't put all bitcoin in 1 wallet
That's smart. I have never thought about keeping my asset at two places. It will increase the security and BTCs availability also. I am currently using coin base, perhaps it is the one with most user (or at least I think so). After reading your comment, now I may try electrum also. I have heard of it by many people already but never found a reason to use it.

I used electrum, but recently I moved moved all over Bittrex, on Bittrex I can trade and make a profit, the transaction fee is also reasonable when I want to sell BTC.
I always put the 2FA in mail to ensure safe for my account. (that is what you should be careful when you want to use for in Bittrex)

It's really difficult to say which one is the best bitcoin wallet because it really depends on your needs. All have PRO and CONS. So you need to take some time, read about everything and decide which one is suitable for your needs.

But mycelium is very good offline / online wallet.
I use Electrum to store bigger amouns and on the fly I use some online wallets.

Good luck with it  Smiley

bittrex is an exchanger site, it's not bitcoin wallet dude. saving all your fund in exchanger is not a good idea due to big of risk. in my point of view you should use back electrum for keeping your bitcoin balance for long term. exchanger only match to trade not for keep bitcoin in long enough time.

For me the best bitcoin wallet is the Coins.ph because it is the most suitable wallet for us people of the Philippines. Coins.Ph has a high security and very trusted wallets because of their good services.

First I have used web wallet but after a while I got to all bad sides that is has so I don't use it aymore. And those wallets have the worst securtiy and are the most vulnerable so I don't recommend them. At the moment I have Mycelium and I have to say that it's the best wallet I had. Secure, easy to use, you can have full control on everything, so this is my recommendation.

It is very secure and has key pattern securities.

Definitely Electrum. It has a very user friendly UI and it has much of the controls that I need, without confusing me. It shows me intermediate features, which I really need and appreciate, and I really think some of the experienced settings in some other wallets may be overwhelming for beginners.
It allows me to dynamically control the transaction fees, and it helps me as I almost always deal with very small transactions, and a higher, static transaction fees would hurt me a lot.

It is also pretty secure, and offer a lot of backup solutions, and the security is definitely solid, I'd recommend it for any beginners or intermediate BTC users.

Yes right, I think blockchain.info is the best wallet with the smallest fee when compared to other web wallet. besides blockchain.info I also recommend using xapo and coinbase.
