Hello everyone,

I have a few preoccupation with the eutheurm mining I would build.

First of all I have a very bad internet connection in my town, 450Kb/s. Is it important to have a good connection/PING to get a better chance to solve a block?
If I understand well, I have to download the whole block chain, then block per block.

In the other hand I sign for a 6KVA contract for my electricity and I wonder how much KVA  will use a 5 rx 580 GPU rig, with a 1200w alim.

It's maybe dumb question, but I can't find those info and they are the only who still blow my mind befor I start to buy the stuff.

450Kb/s should be fine, it's download? What is upload speed? Ping is more important than the speed. Personally I would say if you have average ping under 100ms it's ok.
6KVA is that kilovolt ampers? What's your voltage?
580 are very power intesive, I don't have 5xx series, but for 4xx you should count 140-150W for 1 GPU. So even if you count with 200W for 1 GPU it's OK for 1200W. But you better wait for someone with 5xx series.

Thx for your help there

I have 450Kb/s download and 60kb/s of upload and around 60ms of ping average. The problem is if I start a YouTube video or anything, my ping goes up, is it a problem if it's happens Sometimes ?

Yes, That's the apparent power in kilovolt amps, I have 230V in my home. In my country (I'm french), if your power goes up to 6KVA, your power is shutdown, that's why I wonder if a rig is consuming a lot of apparent power or not.

Yes the 4xx series are quit better, but since they are unavailable everywhere, I was looking for another solution, the 5xx seems not that bad despite the consumption.

Like The former speaker said your internet wont be a problem i Belive aswell.

Your 5 gpu Mining rig Will probably consume 700-1000 watts or around 4-5 amps. All this depends on your overclock / undervolt and also IF you are gonna dual mine ett/sia for example.

Also if you are using claymore miner for example you dont have to download the blockchain.
Its more simpler to setup.  Smiley
