Hello,
I'have a HTPC with Asrock N3150 ITX, this MB have only PCI-e 1X.
Can I install GTX1070 with pci-e 16x to 1x adapter ?
Can I use GTX1070 only for mining and use internal GPU for watch films via HDMI cable?
My case and power supply is ok.
Thanks

you will probably have to completely disable the internal GPU if an external one is used...  Depends on how they configured the board and coded the BIOS.

I think if you lower intensity on the mining apps to the point where it doesn't stutter videos like I do on my home media center PC, you should be fine to use the 1070 for all tasks.  You won't save much by running a second GPU dedicated to a video display....  I got basically the same hashrates when intensity was trimmed down enough not to cause stutters anyways.

yes you can when i was mining with a 1070 i was also playing game and watch movies, not heavy graphic games but little indie games are possible, this stuff are better to do with a 1080 because it has more GB than a 1070, but youc ans till enjoy video on youtube with a 1070 while mining

With an intensity of ~18, 3d games such as H1Z1 and Rust are more than playable....
I used to play LoL with mining at normal intensity as well.

Food for thought.

I bought 1070 and adapter.

I hope to configure, 1070 only for mining and internal GPU ( Celeron N3150) with HDMI output for TV and decode h264.
Can I configure it in to the BIOS (as indicate by JaredKaragen) or in windows 7?
I bought Gigabyte GTX1070 gaming, I hope it is quite.  Huh

Thanks

You choose in the BIOS usually if you want onboard or onboard or PCIE graphics selection; but I do not know if this support is added in your BIOS.
Most motherboards will hide the onboard video from the OS when it's using a PCIE (external) graphics....  I am unsure if it works the other way around so you may have good results.  nothing but to try.

You will see the high intensity mining side effects on your second display adaptor if it does indeed work alongside an external gpu.
