Wooow, you are just swimming in the Kool Aid. Those 1,000,000 coins belong to who, some magical MCP? Perhaps The Architect like in The Matrix? No, those coins belong to the creator of this junk (aptly named) coin.

I imagine you're relatively new to the alt scene because this scheme has been done time and time again. Anyone remember SolidCoin? I imagine some of you get-rick-quickers haven't even heard of it. Yeah, these pre-mine bounties never pan out.

Junk Coin SPECIFICALLY is a pump and dump and basically admits as much due to the high payouts to early adopters (and the million coins to the founder).

OK, first thank you dreamhouse for defending me.

The purpose of the bounty reserve is stated in the very first post of JKC, and nothing hidden there. The bounty is needed to achieve what we want. I just can't do everything by myself, I have to ask for your helps. And to be fair, I have to reserve something that I can pay as "salary" so that other people can help. It is not me who pay for it, it is the whole JKC community. So dreamhouse is very right, the reserved bounty belongs to the whole JKC community.

Once the JKC goes to exchange, I will distribute all the remaining bounty to a faucet, giveaway or others that can benefit this community. Actually, many of you guys out there (especially those got in at the beginning) may have much more JKCs than I do, because I did not do premining.

I have a day job, it is really stretch for me to do this work. I started it by fun. Now maybe it is the time to find a real leader in this community who can take us to the next level. I will make a post to search for a talented leader, and once found I will handover him all the remaining reserved bounty.

Also to encourage people to help us go to exchange, I put two bounties:
   - 1st exchange: 100,000 JKC
   - 2nd exchange: 70,000 JKC
add 50,000 JKC if it is BTC-e.com.

Thanks all who support us. Guys please make your comments!

BTW, Mark, I respect you. You had quite some good suggestions. But please don't play bad guy here. We are here for fun.

I am not being nasty, JK is "joke" on the internet and maybe also in SMS texting, only pedants include the / to make it j/k as that costs a whole additional keystroke.

So if the C means coin, it is immediately obvious to any internet-literate observer and probably also any SMS texter that it must mean jokecoin.

But the "coin" part is pretty much redundant, coins that only have two characters of their own throw in the C because they need three characters to be a currency-code, but as anyone can readily understand JNK to be junk you don't need that space-filler, you have a perfectly good three-character symbol without resorting to that.

It is similar to the BBQ case, BBQ is so instantly understandable that using the spacefiller C actually obscures the meaning.

Mining-wise it has been a lucky coin so far. Hit two blocks within 5 minutes of each other almost as soon as I switched the server on and now this

Outstanding coin!  I have been solo mining it since this morning on two 7970's and have mined about 700 JKC so far.

Love the pseudo-random bonus block concept I am very excited about possibly finding one.

Good use of the bounties.  Seems this coin is 100% legit

JunkCoin is selling for 500 per BTC, get them while they are cheap I predict that they will match BTC value in 25 minutes.

Here's proof: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=198443.0

Wow what an obvious and lame attempt to hype up the price.

Though I saw many superblocks (150 coins), still don't see any super-super blocks (1000 coins). Of course they are super rare.

I have only mined normal blocks so far.  Looking forward to getting a superblock or supersuperblock before this coin gets popular!

Keep JKC on the low for awhile ... I want my supersuperblock !
