Sure, I'm glad if I can help. But can I ask you for a little favor in exchange: Can you advise
me which GPUs and Coins are the best choice for this board? I had a little break from mining
so my knowledge is outdated Sad

depends what gpu, if u have amd's (rx470 rx480 rx570 rx580) then Etherereum then use claymore and dual mine Siacoin/Pascal/Libry Coin or decred. i dual mine with rx470, currently the best in my opinion great hash rate of upto 30mhs on ethereum & 270mhs Siacoin and low power usage you can then sell the siacoin to pay for part the power of your rig

you can then point it at nicehash and get payed in bitcoin or u can dual mine on pools like Ethermine & Siamining and get payed in the coin you are mining

best mining software is Claymore's

Ok, nice, thank you! What is your opinion on gtx 1070? I heard this is
a very efficient gpu (electricity is very expensive in Germany , sth like .3$ Cry )
Maybe you're more lucky with your electricity rate in NZ Smiley

Yea i hear the gtx 1070 has lower power usage than the amd cards but then there almost twice the price to buy.

look at Nicehash you can select your hardware and will give you an idea what it will earn, these are however stock no mod's no overclock results so you can undervolt and overclock memory for better hash at lower power draw

Hello, Have look through Phil's thread  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1877588.0 . Very good information for both AMD and Nvidia. Nvidia is great for ZEC and Skein (I mine them both at zpool.ca and nicehash) and other coins. Nvidia has turned into a versatile card for mining with the miners that have come out. Good Luck with your mining!
