This fresh facility to have access using same login to multiple exchanges from the bitshares wallet is ground breaking. At the same time this elimination of requirement of BTS for wallet will encourage lot of new people to step in and try to check the functions. This facility will wider the circle of tokens to deal with them from a single place.

How many DEX's are there on Bitshares now? Or is the only other one BitShares Asset Exchange currently?

Are there any volume statistics available for these?

Increasing user security is an important issue and is addressed in BSIP 40. It also opens a lot of use-cases for specialized and targeted keys for an account, making BitShares much more versatile and introducing a unique feature that no other chain has (best to my knowledge).

Yet it's a good time to talk about stable coins like tether, eos stable coins and bitshares stable coins. It's a trend and it will be exciting to see more wallets coming up that support them for commerce. A stablecoin at the POS is way better than a btc.

The SEC can only shutdown services hosted in the US. The Bitshares network decentralization over the whole world prevents from shutdown or confiscation. Therefore no need to worry.
