HW with your new heat-sink?
Will let it run for a while, I suspect same HW/A but longer life...

Will let it run for a while, I suspect same HW/A but longer life... Greetings, rupy. Where did you bought the heatsink? I think the ASIC of the USB Gizmo is 6 mm x 6 mm, am I right?

Thanks, rupy. But why did you took off the original (lovely) heatsink? With the 2, wouldn't be better?

So no thermal paste or tape?
There is something between PCB and aluminium. Non sticky thermal pad probably.

HW/A is 0.8 again... we'll see after a couple of days. You can feel the air movement above the HS, I hope it's doing something atleast.

Active cooling both sides. HW errors down to 0.5%
Now back to 0.8% seems cooling and HW errors are not related.

I am on Linux (Ubuntu 12.04)... Have you got a windows pc you can test the usb's on - just to prove they are working - will isolate the problem to the linux environment at least...
