Hello,
I want to use 2 750W psus for my new mining rig with 6 gpu.
I could only find 1 evga supernova 750 g2 and already bought it.
Is it possible to buy another 750w model as second psu? Or should they be exactly the same brand - model?

I don't think they have to be the same, but it's probably better if they are. Researching multi-psu use I came across this post which specifies the best PSU's for multi-psu rigs are DUAL CONVERSION PSUs that convert the entire energy into a 12V single rail. The cheaper PSU type use the 5V line to regulate the voltage, instead of the 12V line like the dual conversion models. That causes voltage instability from not loading 5V line. The EVGA G2 and P2 650W and up are dual conversion models.

It's also important to connect the two properly:

Hi, it's not necessary to be the same brand or even the same power. The important thing is to connect them properly and do NOT power a single card via both PSUs at the same time. Anyway you can power the riser from one PSU and the 6/8 pin from other, but never connect the 6/8 pin connectors on one card from different PSUs.

what is important is the rail. if everything is on a single rail it will not give many problems. on separate rails limits each for max and starve many gpus, as for using 2 or more psu certainly it is possible and i have done it all the time for years with no harm to anything....
