I do not think it is a definite reason to justify that they are really dead, because I know poloniex is a great market, they will not be short of people to solve this ticket problem, because I think it's just uncertainty and unclear reasons in such a case this.

don't you have to have a minimum balance on btc-e to troll? i seem to remember it's an insane amount now like a $5000 equivalent. they should do something similar, but lower.

Besides what everyone has said about the massive amount of spamming in the trollbox, the biggest problem was the mods were way too lenient.  Most people were only banned for an hour and just came back and did the same thing.  Real conversations and useful info were rare.  1st warning should've been a few days ban, then a few weeks, then months, and so on if you didn't understand how to behave like a rational human being.

90% of the people in there were going full retard with "omg wow XRP moon!!!!" "buy now guise ETH $1000 soon hurry!!!".  I just wanted to strangle all these people for making me waste my time reading their garbage, while I'm trying to sift through it all to see what real news is.

Well this hasn't happened to me ever, I was in a position that I needed the moderators help and if they didn't saw my message at the first time I didn't rush to write/spam immediately but I waited a bit.

since there's a time polo got a problem or issue with their service its better to have a live chat so we can have a clear answer since trollbox already been removed, we still need communication aside from sending tickets if polo can manage to create a good support staff for faster resolution.

Oh well, I used to watch trollbox andl loved to see people mentioning coins that needs to pump and then a few minutes ago, then coin has been pump very hard. Remember Cryptsy? What happened? First the withdrawals never completed. Then customer service was out of reach....

Cryptsy staff still tried to address problems in the chat. Its gone. My last two withdrawals from Poloniex never arrived. They show as "Completed: Error"

Isnt that an odd way to handle the sending of BTC? I mean since day one we had (and still have faucets) that make the payments automatically. I had been skeptical of Poloniex so I signed up just to test it out. They failed. I had to troll them for 4 days to get them to approve a withdrawal. Now, that started happening with Cryptsy when they didnt have the money to actually make the withdrawals. Just like when there are runs on banks. Delay the withdrawal any way possible. Now I get errors. For 7 years Ive never had a completed transaction not appear and be listed by an independent source as having an error.

I`ve never had any issue with poloniex in 1 year, excepting the lag.  Your "test" operations may be rejected just because they are barely over fee amount of 0.0001 and maybe poloniex is spammed with dust transactions, in and out,  so they must have installed a filter for dust. And I always withdraw to the same addresses, maybe thats a factor too. Anyway, I avoid sending exotic alts between exchanges, just BTC, ETH, LTC when possible.


Regarding the trollbox, I think it`s a bit concerning its demise and I trully understand the "industry growth" speach, but without doubt they`re making nice money with latest volumes so, they can afford to hire/outsource personnel.

With over 50K online users at peak time, the trollbox was overwhelmed and unusable, a change was due, perhaps splitting the trollbox on different channels and hire/enroll more moderators.

I liked the trollbox, despite all the spam, shills and abusers, it was a good way to take the "pulse of the street", with skeptcisism.

For now, I`ve joined Trollbox on telegram.

Well polo's chat was a significant part of my polo experience, and it more than just sucks to lose the trollbox. Losing the trollbox is probably for me what it would be like for a twitter lover to lose twitter. They ended it so abruptly without any farewell or anything suggesting they feel any way about it. Polo has not "caught up" with tickets and its been, what, 3 weeks now? I still have friends that are awaiting approval and a stupid 3 btc withdrawal (been on polo forever). Its unbelievable. Not to mention they do not add any of these new and awesome coins.

Exchanges like Tidex, Liqui, YoBit and others are going to overtake exchanges like Polo and Bittrex if they dont start getting their act together soon.

they are one off the biggest exchange. they will fix it.. they just cant handle the amount off trading ppl.
give them some time to fix it all. when its fixed we going to pump it all!   they cant shut down the trollbox forever. its like you take my car away.. they got to know its a addiction for ppl to post/troll on the trollbox.  i found another way to get my addiction done for a while.   lol

What gives? They disabled ETH / ETC deposits on 22nd and it is still disabled! Meanwhile my miners sent 5 ETC to the polo address as i was so sure they would clean up their act and get it working in a couple days! Now there are no responses from their twitter handle and i see a few scam accusations against them! I did manage to withdraw the little BTC i had on there, which was being used for lending. I guess it is bittrex for now, i just hope polo is able to sort out their stuff and get back online soon!

the trollbox was really spinning that difficult to read the dropped messages, that was fun part. and not only fud stuffs, some of keywords was there when hype happened in a specific crypt currency - that was useful.

Got pretty out of hand by the end with the volume of messages and number of clueless noob questions, but was still hands down the best place to go for breaking news on prices spikes/dips/crytpo issues and as a news source and gauge of community sentiment.  Shame there's nothing that's taken it's place as yet.  Glad I never wasted too much time trying to up my pink now though.
