I made a graph on the BitBar money supply. Too bad I didn't start mining until hours into the launch. At the start of the public launch, time 0 in this chart, there was 60.628732 BTB in existence.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Disclaimer: I mined some and bought some so I do stand to benefit from adoption of this coin. I'm making this post in the interest of transparency.

I like the coin but I don't see where they got "reward of 1 BTB per 10 minutes and quickly dropping" from. In the first hour of the public launch, the money supply went from 60.628732 BTB to 1384.485544 BTB.

I started mining on the 3rd post of the ANN thread and all I got was 5 BTB.

I had very bad latency to the network so all I had were orphans and rejects.

Very interesting.

I hold some BTB and will keep it to see how it does.  Its a great concept if it takes to main stream.  Instead of having a wallet with say 100k Bitcoins, you can have 10BTB Cheesy  I like those numbers Cheesy  hahaha

If by premined, you mean it was announced publicly before launch and you weren't there fast enough to get to it, then yes.

I only noticed it a day after, and it still has my interest. It is a very new coin though.

At the start of the public launch, time 0 in this chart, there was 60.628732 BTB in existence.

That wil mean there was 60 BTB mined before the it lunch Wink I couldn't care less when I saw it. Don't have more than a laptop so no mining for me Wink

Actually I think you're right, because people talked about this yesterday.
There was like a 5 minute premine, and that 60 BTB accounts for 2% of the money supply.

Personally, I couldn't care about a 5 minute advantage, being that I was atleast 24hr late to the party.

Here is the difficulty as well.

Even though it is better than with FTC and CNC, it is still a fail. Wannabe developers should really rethink the math - in case they actualy want fair coin start, of course.

So it is premined pretty hard???
If by premined, you mean it was announced publicly before launch and you weren't there fast enough to get to it, then yes.

BTB was actualy premined - one of the testers admitted it already. And there was public premine due to insane low starting difficulty, where those few fast enough got
insane amount of BTB in very short period of time - including myself, with 5 BTB made using lousy 5770 hashing at 100 kHashes for few hours.

Blockchain is revealing the scam. Graphs like those posted above are revealing the scam. So please, don't play retard twisting the truth in order to profit from this scam.

You're the same idiot who was bashing FTC before it gained 500% value.

It's too bad you go back to delete evidence of stupidity in your posts, it makes the link below look like I was talking to a ghost.

Try not to delete your thread so the people can see what a moron you are, and why your 'ignore' under your name is highlighted orange.

Btw he has link in his signature that BTB is a scam.

However he was also promoting BFL for free on his website for a long time up until recently.

Then he made some bitchfit thread about how BFL didn't pay him.

Good job promoting scam company though.
