People ask for bounties, dev says "sure, send email here"

Here fishy fishy, come and take the bait.

maybe the problem is in the mailto:links. Thank you for sharing, we will investigate this immediately.

In the crypto world, reputation is key, so we would in no way attempt to use the ICO model for a scam.

Will let you know more.

Kind regards,

I'm glad that you feel reputation is key.

So which one of the team are you, what's your name?

Do you have any proof that Tom Sperry has invested and supports Hive?

Maybe it's just me then, but better safe than sorry.

Which is why I check things out. Like Mr Sperry, if something seems to good to be true and all that.

Got any proof?

Do you have any proof that Tom Sperry has invested and supports Hive?

We sign our posts Hive Project Team as it is a team effort, but my name is Gal Jakic & I am the Community Manager @ Hive Project. I mostly take care of our BitcoinTalk posts, but I'd like the team effort to be recognized in everything we do, because we bring value to the community as a collection, not the individual participants.

Tom Sperry is associated with the project as described on our website. His reputation speaks for itself, same as our teams. People can check out every one of us, our aim is to provide SMEs with opportunity to work better and our investors with the opportunity for great investment. I'd also like to point out that Mr. Sperry's involvement with the project is he is the escrow, so he holds part of the cryptographic key needed to issue the funds to the Hive Project Team.

A name is everything we have & none of us have the intention of damaging it.

We've also checked the website links & realized there was an issue with linking to Tom's website. Sadly, as a founder, owner & lead developer of a web design agency, I can tell you these things happen sometimes. We should have been more careful in checking those links. When creating work for our clients, it's usually the clients that check, but when you make a website for yourself, sometimes these things get lost in the myriad of other things you have to do when preparing for the ICO.

Thanks for pointing out our issues. As you can see, we react immediately on issues of our community & hopefully it shows.

Kind regards,

Hive Project Team

Your words sound good, but you will have to provide proof of his involvement, rather than just claim it.

Especially after what I've been reading. The illustrious career of Mr Muldoon also has to check out.

He seems quite the character. If it's all true.

If not, well ... It won't look good.

I really love the name of the project. I think it's a very inclusive element and will generate a good community feeling I believe. I see the way the Community Leader has reacted and responded to everyone's queries and comments and am very impressed by this professional attitude. I will be watching for sure.

thank you for this. Our team will do our best in communicating openly & transparently as well as respond to comments on this thread & in other places, such as our public Slack channel. Hive Project is a project that aims to serve its community in the full potential.

I am not understanding the tech here.  How does any of this differ from the blockchain that is there now and a side token that is created off of it?  It seems that all of the information that your token provides is just the same information that is already there, but in a different format.  I am not arguing , just trying to fully understand where this is going.

Hi virasog,
our project is not creating another blockchain. We’re using an already existing infrastructure to create Hive Project platform that will help SMEs with their liquidity problems. Let’s say a business X has a customer, who will pay him for his services, but he will only receive the money for his work in 120 days. The SMEs would of course need his money immediately - for making payroll, buying materials, etc. Hive Project platform will  develop a fund, that will buy that invoice at a discounted rate & provide the SME with the money the next day, while waiting for the original customer to pay us the original amount in 120 days. Blockchain is an integral part of the platform needed for keeping reliable track record of invoices, which helps with automating process and prevents double selling of the invoices. Plus it will, in the future, also enable big data credit scoring.

HVN token’s value is therefore tied to the business we’re creating & is the means for payment for usage of some of the features of the Hive Project platform (in our case, you will need the HVN token to be able to buy an invoice from Hive Project platform in the peer-to-peer lending stage). To put it in very simple language, buying an invoice from business X at a discounted price now, so that their customer, business Y can pay you the full invoice amount at payment deadline - let’s say 120 days from now - will cost you X amount of HVN tokens, which you either own if you’re an investor or have to buy from someone who does at an exchange.

Kind regards,

Got any proof yet? You'd best be quick about providing it.

Because I'll be reporting this tomorrow if you don't.

Perhaps you don't know why BTC was created. Perhaps you do, and you just don't give a shit. But when you come round here proudly stating your part in the financial collapse that gave rise to Bitcoin, well, you get my attention. As does your plan to buy discounted debts as third party interlopers. If you knew about contract law and the intervention of third parties, you would know that such debts become unenforceable. If you buy the debt, it has been paid. Do you have a contract with the debtor? No? Then they don't have to pay.

But wait, perhaps Mr Muldoon might not be a bad guy banker after all. Because I can't find any sign him working at the BoA online. I'll check with them after the weekend though, just to be sure.

I can however find him hawking pear brandy and olive oil for a company that came and went without leaving a trace. A bit of a come down for Mr Banker, perhaps he didn't meet his repossession targets. Never mind, he soon got a job as an attaché at the British Embassy in Slovenia, escorting Prince Andrew and the like. He gets about this fella. Pretty sure the folks at the embassy will remember this chap.

This is really cool.. Real business, real assets, commodity. Hive is good option for risk deversification.

Hey dealung,

thank you for your kind words. The more invoices will be handled by Hive Project platform, the more accurate the results of our algorithm will be in terms of risk assessment & credit scoring. That is why, we'll open a Hive Project fund at the get-go, to make sure our users get a good set of data when we open up the second stage of the project, peer-to-peer lending.

Hive Project Team

Good job.. I am waiting for the next update. Good luck HIVE

Hi, its great that you point out stuff you believe is important and want more data on. We understand there is a lot of projects with unknown credentials and certainly we don´t want to be seen as one.

Oliver Muldoon is a senior member of our team and has worked on many things in his life. It's not a secret that he has worked on all the things you pointed out, although he never worked as an attache. He worked for the General Secretariat of the Slovenian government. I don't see this as a issue, but rather as an asset.  He is an accomplished professional with a wide range of experience and a strong financial background.

I am sure if our team had any intention to deceive anyone, first we would not have a team of this size, many of whom have previously worked for Iconomi, Bitstamp and many other well known companies, and I am sure no one would accept this work if anything wasn't right here.

We hope you can see us as a real team with pure intention to create a value for our investors. Regarding technical details, we will publish more in the blog that is on the way and should be published early next week.

2000 BTC is the minimum? Why are you being greedy? I did not look at your project, I dont know how much work you had to develop these concepts, but do you really believe that 2000 BTC will be achieved? It's too much! Shocked I'll be watching all this! Good luck! Wink

Dear ajpa94,
thank you for a great question. Hive Project Team has laid out a strong development schedule for the following 2 years, that you can check out on our website. It is a very strict set of deadlines & the funds for lending to SMEs will not be released to the Hive Project Team unless those deadlines are fully respected. That is guaranteed by our escrow & it is why we have one holder of the escrow key, who is not a team member, but a respected authority in the IT & VC community holding that key & keeping us accountable.

The reason we need the 2000 Bitcoin minimum is, that big part of the money will be used to start the Hive Project fund, that will start buying invoices & in the process, acquiring financial data on the SMEs themselves & feeding it to the algorithm, to be able to reach Hive Project’s end goal - become a 3rd party audit & credit score provider. The nice side effect is that the more SMEs we help reach liquidity, more accurate our credit scoring algorithm will be in terms of providing investors & token holders a good credit score for the peer-to-peer lending phase of the Hive Project platform.

Kind regards,

Hive Project Team

Proof buddy, not empty words.

It says attaché at the British Embassy in the first link. It's quite clear. It even mentions his duties. Are we to put the discrepancy down to journalistic interpretation, or has your head of finance been economic with the truth?

I suggest you provide proof of Mr Muldoon's AVP positions at the Bank of America, and his time at the British Embassy, or wherever it was that he working when he was escorting Prince Andrew. Also that Tom Sperry is indeed providing escrow service. And I mean concrete, verifiable evidence, not just words on a forum. I'll be checking in the morning, and if it doesn't check out I will be reporting your lovely ICO to all the necessary authorities.

You may well have genuine, honest individuals on your team. I couldn't say, I haven't checked anyone else out. But I know conmen have to employ devs if they want to get in on the crypto scams. And without proof that everyone is who they say they are, what can I say? It all looks too familiar.

Gonna need more than a whitepaper for 10,000 bitcoins.
