More good news for litecoin

Already read this thread on 10 june and dint have courage to buy litecoin because i was not sure how one persons adoption from coinbase to litecoin change but its really changed around 20$ difference in 2 weeks.

It's debatable regarding who the top five are. I think even impossible to determine; but, the fact that articles like the one listed below gives you an indication of why that one person has an effect. Also, as lead developer and popular in crypto space he has reason to know what's in the works for LTC.

I've read the articles on a news site about LTC, that the existence of progress from some advanced technology in proving the LTC has a future as a crypto currency should invest but still use the counts to keep incurred losses

I really think that litecoin will be a very progressive coin in the future and right now, i think it's a cryptocurrency worth investing. And the rate at which litecoin is growing, it makes it a very profitable investment with very high potential gains.

bro i don't argue that litecoin is a bad one, but it's not a good one though. imitating bitcoin does not give it anything. the only way for litecoin to rise is assian markets. nothing else.

The competition with Ethereum and other cryptocurrencies is still somewhat in the future, with respect to mainstream adaptation and infrastructures. They are at present made for Bitcoin, which is at present "useless" for quick transfers of small amount. A little tweak of these Bitcoin infrastructure will allow the usage of "Bitcoin-Light" :-)

Lite coin or LTC is one of the long running coin already and  its a very promising one. I think the Dev  now is full time in developing on this coin after he resigned from coin desk. More development is on the way as the dev can focus on this coin project.

I was aware of this information and didn't add it to the thread because it has been dismissed by the litecoin community. The team at MIT working on the Lightning Network has nothing to do with the countdown website for August 1st and it was created by an individual student. Even the source code of the website specifically states "Not associated with the MIT DCI Lit project, though we believe it will release soon".

While mildly interesting, it falls under the category of fake news until real information is released. Frankly, LTC doesn't need false stories to get ahead, there is more than enough good news and development. Let's leave the fake stuff to coins that lack merit.
