I think we should stop arguing on the price, it will not lead to anywhere. It's better to express your view on that to community and maybe you'll get new ideas, but to be honest, who got SNT will hope on the big rise, the others will not.

How about next ICO?

I hope it does well but with any big ICO like BAT and Bancor or STATUS, there will be discontent people.

The problem is that it's so difficult to invest within seconds they have raised 10s of millions of dollars. Never before in history has this been possible without stock exchanges.

I think initially the price will plunge like BAT but it will rcover

I think we need to talk about Status in this thread because thats what it is about. Many people on here got to get ahold of some SNT yesterday, many did not too. I personally did. I think I will hold it for a bit and see what happens with the project, the price, etc. I am very interested to see the buzz when it starts getting listed on some of the bigger exchanges.

Well said, no matter what ICO it is and no matter what the terms are there will be a lot of unhappy people. Despite saying this I think Status was a failure mainly because they messed up the Ethereum network, but the project itself I think is solid.

My transaction is split into two. And I still have 2.549 Eth left in MyEtherwallet. I am a noob for Ethereum. Is everything correct of should I just wait?

Any help guys? Thank you  Smiley

Everything is fine. The contract limited you to half what you asked for. 25K status tokens and a refund of 2.5eth (minus gas)

Why did that happen? Why won't it accept my investments?

There was very little SNT at the time you invest, so they had set a certain ceiling for the amount of SNT you could buy at a time. It was not a fixed ceiling, but a movable one, getting smaller as the left SNT went down.

That means it accepted your "partial" investment when the investment higher than the ceiling, the rest came back to your wallet.

Just in case you want to know what happened.

Honestly, after DAO experience and ETH hardforking, and now this,  I see ETH going down the same path as BTC with flaws being magnified.  Hopefully, new networks such as Aeternity and Cosmos can prevent situations like this from happening.

After sending over 100 transactions into the network, I only managed to get 1 through.  It's pretty pathetic.   Also for the SONM ICO, my transaction duplicated out of nowhere.  How can the ETH system ever be viewed as reliable?

Thanks for you explanation. The most bizar ICO I ever joined. In my opinion an ICO has to take much longer so people can participate without killing the fragile Ethereum network.

In the past Nxt got bashed a lot because of the short ICO (61 days) and bad distribution. And now it's a panic ICO with people getting left out.

Yes, it is quite disappointing to see this happening to ETH. I expected ETH network to handle the load with ease. But I believe with time, ETH should be able to fix this issue and move on forward. At the moment, I believe all blockchains  have this issue of scaling and handling major loads.

I've bought a bit (it was a nightmare). What the price will be after exchange, what do you think? Is there are polo listing rumors?

I don't even care, not gonna check any exchange. I don't trade atm either.

I've invested in Status for the long term, it's gonna be x100 worth.

Who ever is selling for less, gonna lose.

Ex. Stratis Smiley

Is it gonna be x100 worth? Depending on what? Please don't manipulate people for hyped projects. You don't get any benefit from this behavior.

I gave an example, Stratis. both are very similar it terms of quality crew & community.

Stratis got x1200 within a few months..

How is status similar to stratis? The crew and community are too young to be able to judge I think.

I guess you are aware of how big Status activity is.

Pretty interesting video. Status has lots of  things planned and a lot already done... I'm also sure this heavy investment will make development faster!

The sky's the limit

I predict Status to gain better stats then Stratis.

Didn't get in on the ico because my tx didn't go through.
I see this happened to a lot of people.
However, 1 day later, MEW shows the tx as completed, ETH went to status ico address.

WTF?
Did this happen to other people, too?

Same thing happened to me. Got refunded immediately because it took to long to get there. SMH.

Checked the TX.
Moved, but no SNT in MEW even though I added the token.
This must have happened to a gazillion people?!
