Nope for me because everytime you gamble either you win or lose you still gamble that cause you lose too much and more triggered you to do gambling more and lose more money from it the more chances you think that you can win the gambling it self of course not its all base with our luck and on how we handled it. the koral leason that we get from gambling is when we realize that gambling is for nothing but to lose money

That is bad that losing does not give you lesson in life not to gamble again, instead it triggers you to chase loses and lose more.  In my part, it teaches me that gambling is just a way to have fun and entertainment and that whenever I lost something i must not chase it to win back since the percentage of losing more is very high.  Just accept the fact that gambling is disastrous in the long run if we failed to control ourselves.

Maybe the first reaction is to chase your loses, everyone does that especially when we are being controlled by our emotion, as we keep losing time will come that we will realize we are being stupid, it's not good to chase though without the right strategy to recover your loses.
I don't know what lesson exactly we can get but I'm sure we can use this to improve our decision making and eventually will make us a mature person.

This question made me to think for a moment about it, I`m sure that for gambling you need to have some life experience, it`s not good to build your life on gambling experience, do you understand? You need to build yourself as a person before you start to gamble, you need to develop patience, selfcontrol, intuition, all that can help you to be better in gambling. I generally think that this question is meaningless. The whole point is that gambling itself has a very negative effect on many people and I do not think that you need to start gambling in order to understand life or to get some benefit to determine your goal in life. Moreover gambling should be considered as your training institution where we can learn lots of life's most essential skills and characteristics. Well experience is the best teacher and gambling gives us a lot of experience in handling money and spending it. For some, maybe they learned the value of money when they started gambling. Very true. Not just in gambling, everywhere we should accept what we are facing. We can fight against it but not at the same moment. We must take time to think over about pros and cons before fighting against it. If we are having any clear idea then we can start our recovery process at least from next day.

In gambling if we are closely watching many gamblers are losing their capital only in the process of fighting against their losses. It is a very big lesson unfortunately no gambler is ready to learn it.

A book can give you actual lessons in life and it doesn't cost as much as feeding your gambling addiction. The only thing that you can learn about gambling is regret. You will regret gambling so much. You will think that you could have spent all those money to something more practical. I wouldn't really blame people if they were brain washed that gambling can give you lessons in life. It's their way to feel less sorry for themselves after losing a huge chunk of money.

All those having less emotions in a risky situation, maintaining a calm state, and so on.. All these are just the things that an addicted gambler thought he's going to use in life. In reality, they would never have a calm moment at all once they realized how much they've ruined theirs and their family's financial life.
