I think no your sequence is reversly incorrect , Gambling give lessons on those who lose money if they only realise it and leave gambling or change their lifestyle afterwards but if a gambler wins it won't give lessons ,instead it will bring happiness and after the amount was gone the tendency is going back again in playing gambling.

Winning in gambling feels good because you will think that there's no need for you to work that hard to earn money but when you lose, this is the time you will realized what are your strengths and weaknesses. You will know if you can control yourself in stressful situations and then find a way to get out of it. If you can finally managed your emotions when gambling then you can apply it to other aspects of your life as well that whenever you are in a difficult situation then you can find a way to remedy it.

There is no risk when playing with free money and with free money there is no thrill to that.
Every gambler wants to have fun and winning is the way to have a real fun, but sometimes we do forget our real chances and if we were given some kind of luck and won a good amount we think we can make it again, we are wrong with that mentality because we suddenly change from being clever to emotional.

My life was once not as messy as of today. IF I didnt play at all then my life would be so much better by now. Sometimes I regret it but there is nothing that I can do about it but only to live as it is.
