A lot of skills can be attained through gambling.  If you take gambling seriously, then you will learn vital money management skills, begin to read people's "tells," and understand risk to reward ratios.  All these skills can be translated into events that effect our daily lives.  They enable us to better budget our finances, recognize when people are lying, and encourage us to invest more wisely....Important life lessons can be learned through gambling if we apply ourselves.

There's plenty of it, you'll not be good in numbers but on analyzing things also, since it's too risky and if you are successful in managing the risk that means you have already learned a lot that you can apply in your life. Though we lose most of the time but just stick to the life's lesson, forget the loses and take the fun and the lessons it gives.

There are no skill that will be useful for us. I only see gambling as entertainment not really something that could give me affordable lesson. I can manage my own life with this but as long as I see gambling as part of entertainment then I will not even ruining myself if I keep playing. Eventhough I dont get any life lesson at all

that was not the lesson you can get. in real life when you are a regular gambler you will know that patience are the key to become success. don't get rushed on making any decision and be cool . for me that is the general lesson for everybody .

Yes. Should people who have stopped gambling or ex gambler should be able to learn that making money is not that easy. They should be able to think that gambling is only a disservice to us

This is the reality and this is like a wake up call to him that gambling is no good for him. Addiction in gambling can lead to a total devastation into someone's life if they can't control it.

Yes of course. Gambling can give you many lessons. Losing or winning can give you positive and negative lessons. When losing money you can learn what it feels like and you can learn how important money is. You can learn that in gambling it is easy to lose money but it is hard to gain it. It can also gave you emotional stress. Personally I never lost large sums in Gambling. And I have acquaintances that lost cars in Gambling, for them it certainly is a lesson for life.

I am not sure really , gambling mostly considered as bad thing overall.
You might get a little lesson (if you a positivist) i mean when you always thinking about positive things on anything.

Because thar time you are engaged in gambling is you are not thinking to earn money for your family and the only thing you aim is to win and not lossing. If we generally analyze the whole idea here, you didn't expect to loss and yet you really loss because gambling always make's you loss rathen than winning. Having a bigger lossea that cannot be recovered by playing again will certainly give you a nice lessons that will also give you the principle of not joining gambling bets anymore; life will be change as well.

But this lessons would only be gained or realized when you already being wrecked by gambling.It will really give you lessons on which comes to a point that you would really able to apply it on your entire life. I also had once lost everything in gambling, the feeling at that time can be said to be very bad, my mind is empty, i always tell myself, if i stop sooner, maybe i will not lose everything, maybe i will still have a little fun.
