Yeah maybe it can give someone a lesson when he really got addicted to gambling ang he almost lose all his life savings and his family. This is the reality and this is like a wake up call to him that gambling is no good for him. Addiction in gambling can lead to a total devastation into someone's life if they can't control it.

I think gamblers see any lesson from gambling only when they lost everything and they are totally exhausted out of it. Whenever that they had even a little they never been able to learn from their mistakes. Their loss and empty pockets make them wake and help them to learn lesson that gambling never have been of any profit to them. A bad addiction they had which caused them deep harm.

Why not you treat gambling is a way to learn those lessons ? Until I touch gambling, I was not aware that I am also greedy person. Gambling only notified my characteristics and capabilities on emotion control. Gambling may not capable of teaching any lessons but it will notify that where we are lagging to have a successful life.

But we are seeing many people are learning very big lesson from gambling. From that I understand it is up to a gamblers capability to learn or to ignore those lessons.

Why wait for those times to happened before we realized that gambling should not be a source of income, once we let ourseves believe that we can earn through it or we can win back our loses,we were tend to be desperated and will be out of focus. If we do really want to play, then find a job and allot some of it for playing, it is indeed fun to play without desperation to win, but the thought that we will just enjoy the game.

I don't agree that most gamblers, maybe few of them because we have a big population of gamblers in this world and I believe they are willing to spend money just to have fun. Also, when a gambler commits mistake there is a chance to correct because later on he will understand that gambling is not design for gamblers to make money but only to spend. the only lesson I get is that I am given an ability to perform and act more calmly. for me a decision in a gambling game is a very important thing. if I can not calm down maybe I've been addicted, until now I can still avoid addiction because of the calm and patient nature that I have learned from the beginning of playing gambling.
