gambling taught me how to stay calm when faced with a problem and keep thinking with a cool head. when I losses in gambling, I also got a lesson on how to better appreciate money and time. and when i winning in gambling, there is a lesson there, about how to keep money and not wasteful.
at least it's gives you a lesson on how to be patient , enjoy the proccess and get the best result in the end. making rushed decision never give you anything good yeah , that's what you really can achieved when thinking about how the positive gambling impact to your life. but still overall gambling always get you in trouble , watch out! |

Gambling can give you a reality once you lost it all, sometimes will power will not help a compulsive gambler but a firm decision that will lead you to change your life. Everybody have their own choices. I acknowledge that I have little problem in gambling and the fact that I'm writing this statement. Not more than that I lost a huge amount of money, if I had put all the money in pot that I've lost I would be rich. Nah, past is past learn from your history, that's how you gamble.

Yes of course can give you a lot of lessons in life, in terms of financial losses that can teach you how to value money in a matter of time. Because thar time you are engaged in gambling is you are not thinking to earn money for your family and the only thing you aim is to win and not lossing. If we generally analyze the whole idea here, you didn't expect to loss and yet you really loss because gambling always make's you loss rathen than winning. Having a bigger lossea that cannot be recovered by playing again will certainly give you a nice lessons that will also give you the principle of not joining gambling bets anymore; life will be change as well.
It is depends on how you deal with it in your life. Life is like gambling it is ups to when you loss big time or not. I think those who are gamblers that lose big time are those gets lessons in life in terms of gambling. Don't lose your mind when you are already lose even your profit. Your bankroll is enough for you to play. Greediness and pride can make gamblers lose because one thing I know that when you already unsatisfied in something you will never stop to do it until you get it. That's why their are many gamblers who lose because they are using their emotions and not their mind. In gambling you need to be wise otherwise you will lose. |

This is my attitude before I'm not in gambling, I have a very calm mind and I'm not hot headed. But when I started to gamble when I was still young everything was changed. And the lessons that gambling taught me was to be contented on what I have. Like when I won quite good at 0.005 BTC with dice and it's a streak but I wasn't contented by that time and suddenly I lost all of it because of my greediness. |

It actually depends on your perspective of taking in lessons. For me, in the small amount of time that I did try gambling, I really learnt when to stop and it also taught me how to not be greedy, greed makes you lose a lot when it comes to gambling, best to try your luck at gambling with a very small amount, and if you profit, just bag it and leave.
It really teaches when to stop investing and helps to make financial decisions more efficiently.

OP, it's never necessary that the lessons gambling losses give you will be undertaken by you in order to stop doing such activity.
Not just few but many people take it wrongly and get addicted more towards gambling once their losing streak starts.
Gambling teaches us the following things:
- House is the one who wins mostly
- Losing is a part of life and we should take it and stop doing it at the wrong time
- Doing it for entertainment purpose is fine but taking gambling so seriously and doing it for income purpose could lead to serious problems in life.

off course yes gambling give me remarkable lesson in life, even my last money in the pocket i sacrifice for hoping get the winning bet to assume my money back again for the last chance, i go home with nothing thats expierence i can't do it again, i tel myself i need to set limitation if i'm playing again in gambling.

I'm not sure that gambling can give me a useful science in this life. For me the gambling game is just a pleasure. so there is nothing that can make my life other than for the purpose of pleasure. try gambling games to get fun and do not think gambling is a job that can make money.

I think to those who are lose big time and got deep dept because of gambling they are the one who are much more realize what they already done, they are the one who are got big lesson in life as a gambler. People only realize bad things when they finally done what are wrong and correct. Gambler are leading broke when he is already greedy on money, when he is already full of pride and already unsatisfied on what he have. Until he lose all and even what he borrowed he lose it too. Regarding on lessons on life it will really give you in the end when you are experiencing addiction on it and later on you would realize on the mistakes that you have done. This is the thing which I do think that gambling can give lessons on our lives and besides that it can give possible winnings while you are playing which can possibly give you some benefits on those money you do earn on playing it but mostly negative side effects is the common thing that we do experience on gambling. |

Another good lesson available , and that is on how you should realize about the danger of gambling .
When bad thing happen in our live, thats the sign for us to stop. That is why they say regret always comes later when we have done the wrong things. Sometimes when we think that we cant get anything from gambling, perhaps this could be a good life lesson that we can get which is to stop at the right time I believe in the saying that learn from the mistake of others. You don't need to wait for that situation to happened on you. I'm sure you don't want it to happen too.
