As my personal experience , I earned a very good lesson from gambling . I learned that risking too much is so bad that you can suffer for a long time. I gamble all of my money before and lose it , Until i got broke and I suffer for a long time earning such money to survive each day before. I have doomed by just playing gambling. IMO, gambling cannot give anything in life except suffering, depression, poor life, loss, stress, bad health, broken relations and tears. After watching some gamblers getting totally ruined by this monster, even if gambling gives some lessons it does not worth anything. Who wants to learn control of emotions at such a great cost? There are many other safe ways to learn the same lessons. For me, living without hope is worse than death and that’s what gambling brings.

Yes of course can give you a lot of lessons in life, in terms of financial losses that can teach  you how to value money in a matter of time. Because thar time you are engaged in gambling is you are not thinking to earn money for your family and the only thing you aim is to win and not lossing. Well it's all we can only learn if we are aware of it all. The lesson from gambling can only be achieved if we are aware of all that, if we do not realize that gambling can not give us wealth then we will not get the lesson. But many people are having a hard time to accept that fact, they keep on believing that gambling is a way where they could earn money but the sad truth is that they are just going to lose.
