If any of you geniuses who compiled from "source" went and read the code, you'd realize that it was only the naming changes and a few small changes that are actually in that git repo right now, and they're 9 days old.  In other words, none of the scrypt changes are there, so you're mining on code that is completely irrelevant and will get you nowhere Tongue

so they are mining Yacoin BETA? lol oh boy!

If its not locked to one thread, can someone explain why it is such a benefit to have CPU mining only instead of GPU?

cuz it prevents coin from being raped by the big fishes, so everyone has fair chance

Really?

What about the big fishes that have lots of CPUs?

I can't see how its equal to all....

aha, so youd prefer to have no chance at all when some bigshot comes in with a GPU rig? also the probability is rather low since even the wikis dont recommend cpu mining, plus, with that logic its your own fault you didnt buy yourself a bunch of cpus, live with what ya got k?

Even better, they're mining on a slightly renamed novacoin with a different genesis block and block reward with zero algorithm changes.

I heard the US considers this coin the only real crypto and will announce right after launch that they're replacing the dollar with YAC. It's just a rumor, though, I may be wrong....

..but I may also be right... *muhahahaha*
