Many ico was here in forum and i always read the comment/reply of others, they got a negative feedback for project for participant to have doubt in campaign, I know some of member always do that so it can less the user in campaign and they will gain more profit. I wonder specific info on how to investigate, Yah, We can predict if the project will be success or not by reading the update in thread but how specific we can do to check if its scam or not.

Most likely if it says ICO.

There is no need for any more cryptocurrencies. Multiple thousand are already too many.

Okay. The old man told me to take any rug in the house.

I absolutely do not agree with you ! There is great projects that have been able thanks to ICO, and at the inverse of you pathological pessimism, I do believe that there will be many more in the future.

That is why escrow exist. I truly love ICOs, they are great way for project to come to life. Without them, Ethereum, Waves and many other great projects would not have come to life !

Bullshit.

For example the scammer from BlockNET who got a million dollars for his scam ICO stated that he had 75% of the code done before he posted here.

..you noobs repeat the same bullshit.  Roll Eyes
Tons of coins were launched far before any ICO crap came along.

ICO = SCAM

Investards.. If Satoshi wanted to make Bitcoin an ICO he would have.
Do you noobs know who that is or do i have to explain that to you also ?

There are several ways to understand if a ICO is scam. Try to investigate their team members if they're real people. Try to use scam monitors design for crypto projects. Try to understand their whitepaper if there is inconsistency.

100% this.

The noobs don't know that many coins came out before any ICO crap was done.
It is not NEEDED ..making devs rich paying him vast amounts of money up front.

And i hope to get people to think twice about this stuff.
Give it some thought.

We all should be thinking about how they work and not so much about how much we make from them.

Which is why i posted what i did earlier yet again.
I want to be provocative and get people thinking.

It's not that i want to force people to think a certain way but to get them to come to their own conclusions independently.. even if they end up disagreeing.

For example would you accept a premined coin as acceptable ?
What 2% ? 50% ? 100% ?
Technically an ICO is a one hundred percent premined "coin" or most often a scheme of sorts that is not even usually a "currency"

Why should crypto supporters tolerate users flocking here to buy any scammy bullshit for profits ?
You show up here but are not helping things.. you are making things worse.

Do some reasearch on the team member to confirm if they are reputable people. I think this is the best way.

You must rely on your instinct to know which ICO can give you profit, than finding where is the scam project, all ICO's are scam and all of them will run after they get MONEY from US, there a lot of coins produce on past that doesn't do a ICO, Here in forum there are many ICO and totally all of that was scammed and we keep promoting it for earning and that's the reason why INVESTOR in the ICO's lose money  ? Because of us, afterwards the coins will be dead.

Here is what I'm saying, We are just the people who needs  to earn money without taking risk and in that case we help ICO's get money and scammed there investors in this forum, There are lot of Bitcoin signature campaign why would not pick one ? because it cannot produce lot of money than ICO, Yah, that was right. We are just being person who needs money that we all can't get free, If you join ICO there is no risk that you will lose money but the investor will have, so you did not need to know if its scam or not because it was totally scam in the first place, pick the good one and do your job. INVESTOR take risk and that's not our fault if they lose because they have there own mind which may use wisely.

You say that because you are usually poor little greedy immoral children from 3rd world countries with no integrity looking to buy your first pair of shoes (each sold separately)

I grew up in Canada and watched the USA lots.
The old Water Filter scam for example is similar to most coins and ALL ICO's.
It is the method of operation.. scammy !
The scam i mentioned was so well known that i seen people IRL hooked into it..
I also seen an episode of the TV show King of Queens that featured Doug getting suckered into one.

Those water filter scams operate in a similar way as any & all ICO schemes.
They are not regulated and they are not companies you are buying into.
If you bought a stock would it pay dividends ?
Is your coin ?

It should..
Because not only what i said above but the ICO concept rapes the ideology of Crypto.
It is essentially a 100% premined coin controlled by a centralized entity.. sold on another centralized govt complaint/controlled entity (The crypto exchange)

Know what banks would give to posses the entire max supply of a "currency" for a short time ?
Know why they desperately try and get people to open a savings account ?

Reality:
If you support ICO's then you are a scam supporter.
You are then also making all of crypto worse & worse.
You are not here helping further the cause of getting a currency made and used.
You are here to support shit you shouldn't so you can buy then dump them ASAP for Bitcoin profits.

PS:
There is a reason why anything like an ICO is forbidden & banned on Kickstarter or Paypal etc guys.
They don't allow scams.
And you all don't know what a scam is.

Exactly! a lot of ICO's already done that, you invest a lot of money to it and then it suddenly disappear, that's why it is very risky to invest in ICO nowadays.
