There are several ways to understand if a ICO is scam. Try to investigate their team members if they're real people. Try to use scam monitors design for crypto projects. Try to understand their whitepaper if there is inconsistency.
You say that because you are
usually poor little greedy immoral children from 3rd world countries with no integrity looking to buy your first pair of shoes (
each sold separately)
I grew up in Canada and watched the USA lots.
The old Water Filter scam for example is similar to most coins and ALL ICO's.
It is the method of operation.. scammy !
The scam i mentioned was so well known that i seen people IRL hooked into it..
I also seen an episode of the TV show King of Queens that featured Doug getting suckered into one.
Those water filter scams operate in a similar way as any & all ICO schemes.
They are not regulated and they are not companies you are buying into.
If you bought a stock would it pay dividends ?
Is your coin ?
It should..
Because not only what i said above but the ICO concept rapes the ideology of Crypto.
It is essentially a 100% premined coin controlled by a centralized entity.. sold on another centralized govt complaint/controlled entity (The crypto exchange)
Know what banks would give to posses the entire max supply of a "currency" for a short time ?
Know why they desperately try and get people to open a savings account ?
Reality:If you support ICO's then you are a scam supporter.
You are then also making all of crypto worse & worse.
You are not here helping further the cause of getting a currency made and used.
You are here to support shit you shouldn't so you can buy then dump them ASAP for Bitcoin profits.
PS:There is a reason why anything like an ICO is forbidden & banned on Kickstarter or Paypal etc guys.
They don't allow scams.
And you all don't know what a scam is.
