That should be released already and with a better price range, at the moment they hit the market, those won't be profitable for any coin anymore, besides, different from a PC GPU where you have other funcionalities, this will became a paper weight in a lightning speed.

Yeah nvidia didnt confirmed it but that doesnt mean they will not take the opportunity to make mining cards for such a huge demand... Like what do they have to do? Modify the card a little bit and they get a gold mine. |

US price will most likely be around $220. Interesting to see that the warranty is much longer on that Romanian site (which I know is a legit business). I wonder if the extended warranty is due to Romania being part of the EU and having a legal requirement of a longer warranty or if they will five 1-2 years warranty everywhere? We're not in a position to order 100, so it won't help us any, but having big farms gulp these up will hopefully allow the market to not be drained completely dry of GPUs for gamers and smaller miners. |

The 470 option was not well thought out - they used SLOW MEMORY on the thing.
It better be REAL LOW COST if they want to get any market for it at all.
Not sure on the 106 option - have to see what it actually sells for and how it actually performs (30something percent better hashrate vs cards in the "same segment" is meaningless, especially if they are including the 3GB 1060 as "same segment).

Wow, this motherboard looks awesome...12 GPU support, this is a lot of power for one rig only, amazing! I see the older BioStar MOBO is already on sale for 150USD , "only supporting 6 GPU". |

Yes, not worth the money. Well if the shortage continues, it wouldn't be such a bad deal. The question is: would you rather wait possible months before getting your hands on a few mining GPUs and miss out on mining a bit, or go for dedicated GPUs with worthless resell value that you will likely have ROIed by then. The choice isn't that easy. Supposedly, the 7 MSI 570 I ordered beginning of June should arrive mid-july...no idea if this means a large restock. |
