how to sync the wallet? added a config file with some nodes from old ANN thread, did not work for me

@devs - I read the following statement from an article

"Virta Coin Unique is a fork of the original older VirtaCoin that was launched on the 2nd July 2014. The fork went live on the 14th July 2017. To make it even more confusing it also appears that VirtaCoin is a fork of an older coin, that I failed to find an ANN thread for, originally named VirtaPay."

why forking that many times?

neither virtauniquecoin-qt.conf nor virtauniquecoin.conf worked for me....

You deleted my previous post. I am not trying to cause trouble.
I am interested in mining this coin, but I would like to understand more.

Why have 60mio coins been mined on the first block?
How does this help the future of the coin?

Can someone please help me on how to sync the windows wallet? I have already created the .conf and pasted it on the folder together with the wallet.bat, and also used the nodes suggested above but still I cannot sync.
