I agree with the unpredictability of African teams. This also holds for Cameroon but I have seen some matches this year and I have a good feeling.
The odds for Germany vs Chile are pretty equal. A win of Germany brings 2.47 and a win of Chile 2.66. So, according to the betting providers there is no favorite team. Nevertheless, I bet a small amount on a win of Germany.

I actually wanted to stay away from betting on soccer matches during the summer. But the confederations cup has aroused my interest. The matches have been very predictable so far. Portugal beat Russia today what was not a surprise at all. Portugal is the clear favorite for the tournament because Germany only plays with players from the second row.
For the matches tomorrow, I go for wins of Cameroon and Germany.

I was thinking to put some money on Russia yesterday, I glad I didn't make it 
But for today I'm pretty sure Chile will win against Germany (who don't play with its strongest players).
Chile is my favorite for winning the cup and I believe that you'll see why tonight.

Cameroon is a good bet, but the African teams tend to be unexpected. so no bet for me.

if you support Portugal for win confederation cup,you should hope that Ronaldo will not injury,so far portugal really depend on Ronaldo perform,check their last match,only ronldo can scored,and this can be really matter if he get injury,Chile and Germany have complete squad,not depend on one player,the semi final would interesting,Chile,Portugal,Germany and Mexico will fight for Champions,and my prediction goes to Germany,they have unpredict player and spirit of young players.

I also think the semi finals will be what you said however I think Mexico will make it through to the final to either face Germany or Portugal. I think Mexico are an underrated team of this competition and could even win the cup. My team Australia ain't doing to well as I thought they would of beaten Cameroon but could only get a draw.

I also think alike, but whatever the team will come, Portugal will win this confederation cup, but after Portugal Chile is the most favorite to become champion. I'm very much upset about formation of German side, they are too young side to win this competition..

i'm pretty sure Portugal will be one of the teams who able to reach semifinal match because they will met weak team New Zealand but for Mexico they have to beware for home team Russia because if they lost the possibility to went to next round will be gone and Russia will taking over their position indeed Mexico only need draw results but Russia will do more efforts because as home team the fans will want more

I think if we do this, we will probably follow a tasteful semi-final series, as germany has a slightly younger staff and portuguese has a slightly more mature cast.

They have a very young squad, i think the German national team are doing very well, in their last game against Chile, with the exception of a few defensive mistakes, i think the team was solid. It was a great idea by Joachim Leow to test his young team in the confederation cup, even if they don't win, they will get the necessary experience for the future.

Portugal would be able to qualify for the semi-finals quite easily as their last match opponent in group A would be New Zealand who found themselves stuck at the bottom of the group with two defeats, with nothing to fight for, New Zealand might even send out their youngster to gain some experience against big teams in tournament. I just don't see how New Zealand could stop Cristiano Ronaldo from firing Portugal to the next stage, my bets would be on Portugal

I don't think possible is the right to use because Portugal are definitely going to win New Zealand and top the group and they will be facing Germany which will be blockbuster should the Germans have brought most of their star players.

By affinity of course I would like to see Mexico gaining the cup, but in this country nobody is happy with the game system that coach Juan Carlos Osorio has imposed on the Tricolor with his absurd "rotation system".

But for the level of play, my first favorite is Chile, the second Portugal and then Germany. I see Chile more complete, committed and better armed, taking the cup seriously.

Yeah after seeing the players brought by each team, I agree there is a possibility that Chile and Portugal will met in the final match. before this competition start i've predict germany can take this thropy but sadly leroy sane can't play.

Mexico vs Russia
The host country, Russia need to beat Mexico for the qualification of play-offs. Russia will surely fail in my opinion, they have no quality to fight against Mexico. Chicharito are starting today after rested for one game, this made Russia's hope for advance become more smaller. I think this game will probably end draw.

Portugal and Mexico already qualified to the next round but the promising performance showed by Portugal with destroy New Zealand 4-0 and they will wait their upcoming opponents next however according to predictions of many people that maybe Chille and Germany will qualified too
