DNR is coming along nicely! I'm really liking the look of the DNR trading chart, DNR could break out at anytime from now so I have been slowly accumulating more to work my way up to owning a masternode which I hope to achieve within the next couple of months if the price remains around the same as it has been for the past month or so.

I like steady progress more then the rapid one, its better to have small increases on daily volumes then to jump and then have price corrections.

This new 2.5 Version of  wallet looks nice but I have some lags sometimes while staking is in progress...

I am testing a newer QT that it appears, devs removed the rest of the tiny lag. These guys just don't stop, its complete madness.

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

Reposting this again here in case it was missed on the last page:

You must update before block 900,000! Around 140k blocks left!

Mandatory Update Denarius v2.5!

-Protocol Update (25213 now)
-Removed Litemode
-Removed Trading API (May add back in, in a future update)
-Reworked threading for Masternodes
-Removed Darksend
(We want to bring a better privacy method of sending coins in Denarius, hence the removal of Darksend, we are currently looking into potentially integrating libzerocoin in a future release.)
-Removed Instantx
-Optimized Keypool
-General Optimization and Fixes
-Forced port 9999 for mainnet masternodes and 19999 for testnet
-Updated Watch Only Addresses/Support
-Optimized Syncing Speeds (Improved to around 200-400 blocks per second vs. old 3 blocks per second)
-Optimized Wallet
-Fixed sending transactions with a narration
-Added Watch Only balances in QT if any watch only addresses are available
-Added the ignoring of staking inputs for exact amounts of 5,000 DNR for masternodes
-Updated the listtransactions RPC command to provide vout information
-Old Nodes will no longer connect to our current protocol of 25213 after block 900,000, so ensure that you are updated to v2.5 on all of your Denarius and denariusd nodes before block 900,000.

If you have a node running do the following to update it:

Code:
./denariusd stop && cd .. && git pull && cd src && make clean && make -f makefile.unix

Grab the latest release of v2.5 from: https://github.com/carsenk/denarius/releases/tag/v2.5

v2.5 was merged into our master branch for an easy git pull to update old nodes.

Paperbacks are cool, I'm impressed we've got a paperback book written about us. Only a few coins can say they do... and most of them are much larger than us right now!

regards,

does that happen when you start the client? sounds like an issue with inconsistency in the wallet file when it's generating out the transactions to fill the transactions tab.

i would recommend booting up the client using the '-rescan' option which will force a rescan of the blockchain to verify all the wallet transactions

if this does not work then you probably need to use a fresh wallet.dat and import the private keys into there which will rebuild the entire wallet. do you have the private keys for your wallet backed up? if so, simply run the 'importprivkey' command in debug console on a new wallet file otherwise you can use the 'importwallet' command to import private keys from a wallet file

you don't have the private keys and the importwallet fails or your old wallet.dat is encrypted, try opening the wallet using an old client (out of sync is fine), unlock the wallet if required and use the 'dumpprivkey' command on each of your addresses to get a private key which you can then use to 'importprivkey' in your new wallet

If you don't get it figured out from what Enkayz posted hop on discord.  It's way easier to help out in real time instead of bouncing messages back and forth on here.

V2.5 fixed some problems for me, like showing up actual balance rather then just zero, syncing is much faster and staking also started to work.
Good job!

Agreed, syncing is suuuuuuuuper fast now!

Yup! I usually don't post about what we have coming in the future, but we will be working towards adding potentially Ring Signatures, I2P Native Optional Support, Tor Native Optional Support, and maybe libzerocoin.

We also are fixing the my masternode tab in the QT (will be working in the next release) and the staking estimations tab to be a bit more clean. We are also working on optimizing things even more.

Awesome!  It will be interesting to see what privacy feature(s) make the cut.

Is there any chance of Ledger nano s app in the future?

The pull request on github has been accepted and is actively being reviewed by Ledger, TREZOR integration is happening, and Ledger will soon.

Yup! https://github.com/LedgerHQ/blue-app-btc/pull/28

Our Trezor PR was already merged and there is now a denarius.json in the trezor-common repo, so it should be fully added within their next update Smiley

Airdrop is a pretty dumb idea, you can already mine and stake this coin to generate new ones, and the pre-mine of 10% served to fund development.
Also, is there any website that allows me to see the AVERAGE mining difficulty to predict amount of coins mined? The client and block-chains fluctuate every minute or so from 0.0003 to around 800, so it's hard to see the average difficulty.

This is a pretty decent site to check rough mining numbers.
