I have nothing against it. Live and let live. No one has the right to tell others how to live and who to love. And what exactly is normal? Is this something that majority defines, does it depend on period in the history or relgion, social circumstances? I think it's hard to tell so don't judge the others.

A lot of countries provide subsidized or free artificial insemination for childless couples. If you consider gay couples as equal to heterosexual couples, then they will also become eligible for these subsidies. And since none of them can have children naturally, everyone will go for it and this will bankrupt the healthcare system.

Is it difficult to understand that not everyone subscribes to the bible?  Those that don't subscribe don't need to create a new religion to make people that think like you happy.  The same way you don't need to be Christian to get married, you don't have to subscribe to any part of the bible.  That's your choice to subscribe and it's anyone else's choice to not subscribe.

You probably couldn't care less about the rules in the Quran because you don't subscribe to it, and there is no explanation required, nor do you need their approval to proceed with social contracts like marriage.  That's how any non-Christian looks at the bible.

What harm does it cause you personally?  Has anyone physically or verbally abused you?

Sure it can be regarded as advertising if you see it that way.  In which case you see legal cigarettes as the government advertising that you should smoke.  Not everyone sees the world though such a narrow perspective.  And even if they did, who cares what advertisement you're looking at?  Surely you don't buy every product or service that you see an ad for...you can make that decision yourself can't you?

If gay marriage is legal...are you going to become gay?  No...and no one else will either.  No straight person is debating whether they should be gay, and waiting for legalization.

That is why in Russia they have a law banning the dissemination of gay propaganda to the children. The European Union and the United States were up in arms after it was introduced. Why they want the Russian children to be taught homosexual propaganda?

Not sure about protesting the church.  The main protest is for the government to recognize and legalize same sex marriage.  The church can have whatever rules they want as an organization, and people can choose to subscribe to those rules or not.

Not sure about protesting the church.  The main protest is for the government to recognize and legalize same sex marriage.  The church can have whatever rules they want as an organization, and people can choose to subscribe to those rules or not.

There are a lot of churches out there, which permit gay marriage. And recent studies suggest that a lot many of the ordained clergy within the Catholic church is either bisexual or homosexual, as evident from the number of choir boys molested by them every year.

Different sects of Christianity and different churches will probably have their own perspective on issues including same sex marriage.  You are right in that in general, the church is against it.  And at least in North America and Europe, some things that the church considers sin has made its way into policy (victimless crimes).

In my country same sex marriages have no legal grounds yet but personnally, i dont see anything wrong with same sex marriages. If love happens, everyone can marry to any living creature.
