Im not in favor of same sex marriage, but I feel those who really find true love with same sex..it really happens and they're increasing in number..we cant blame if other countries are tolerating it or if they are in favor of it.

Sadly, I have experienced the consequences of same-sex marriage not being legal.

We queer people are fully human and fully deserving of equal human dignity and rights.

We do not deserve to be treated as second-class citizens, which is what happens when we're denied ordinary participation in civil society.

This is what I don't understand. Why legal recognition of same-sex marriage is necessary for your ordinary participation in civil society? If you want participate in the elections, or if you want to start an educational institution, then you can do that without any issues. Why do you need a marriage certificate from the government to do these things?

In my country,same sex marriage is not acceptable and I also do not support same sex marriage. Same sex marriage is a sin against my God and it is something that is also against the standard of my religion. How many of those who are endorsing and enforcing same sex marriage are gay themselves? That is the question most people are asking themselves. If their parent were gay, would they be alive today?.  Ponder over that.

It is wrong at any level No men are born gay, it's only in their mind that other similar gender were supposed to be their partner. This is a psychological problem with men facing insecurities and marginalized throughout their life. Freedom? Marriage is not a freedom, you can't marry more than once, you have a responsibilities and commitment in it therefor it brings a strong foundation as to where your purpose is going to be in marriage.

I am not in favor. Philippines is a Christian Country. You can see so many gays and lesbians and transgenders around.
We cannot blame them for being like that. They may be cursed by some and loved by others but in the end it is their hearts that longs for a true satisfaction.

We are living in the world full of uncertainties. May we find that certainties our heart is always longing for.

Gay marriage for me is a choice, and I really don't care if they choose to be publicly gay. However, I am not going to outright support gay marriage just because it is so rebellious and liberally game changing. We have a freedom to do what we want, but I am against it.

Legal protection and recognition can be granted if the homosexual couples behave like the heterosexual couples. But that is not the case. In normal cases, homosexual couples are not loyal or faithful to each other. They will be having sex with multiple partners, although they are in a relationship. I am not saying that adultery is not present in heterosexual relationships. But it is more of a rarity, rather than a norm.

In my country a similar sex of marriage is not allowed. The laws of my country do not permit that kind of marriages.

Same here on my country.  It is all because my country and we here are Christians.  The bible does not allow same sex marriage because man is for woman and woman is for man.  And besides it is immoral for me to blessed yhem to become husband and wife.  They can become in a relationship but not to the extent that they will be blessed as a couple.

What is the problem with the people who want to be involved with the same sex and commit their life to that person? Nothing. If they are happy then what is the issue? They are not harming us in any way, shape, or form. Let them be happy with the life choices they make for themselves. No one should have a say in someone else's life or who they decide to be with. I do not agree with same-sex marriage, my country is the same, it is to break through people's inherent feelings about the emotional response to love, and some related physiological reactions, psychological disadvantage. There is nothing to be going against them. Because of people like what they really like to do. We should not interfere as long as they don't cause any serious problem. So there is no problem with same-sex marriage. Recently in some countries, this is allowed by the government. So I think it is okay to accept them cordially in the society. Peace.
