I am more worried with the BTC going up instead of staying put because I'm getting killed by the transaction fees!
It is a good idea now to have a physical wallet rather than an online wallet.

Much worst if the bitcoin price is not going up but the transaction fees is still high, then it's no making sense.

If the transaction fees is high then we can really feel the value of it once bitcoin price increase. Look if ever the fees are playing around today @ 40,000 to 50,000 satoshis that is $1 value. If bitcoin price will increase more, that amount of satoshis will be soon $2 and so on. That's why to at least we have a compensation to the high fees we are dealing, bitcoin price should be high so that somehow we are being rewarded to our effort in holding or earning bitcoin. I believe soon the fees will be minimized once this scaling issue solved or slightly being handled.

Damn you're right 50k satoshis is already more than a dollar now. 3 months ago it was just 50 cents. The crypto space keeps amazing me everyday. I also hope the scaling issue will be solved soon. Let's hope we make the best decision possible moving forward.

Well indeed it is today the main problem is being encountered on a fee on each transaction we do. Where is bitcoin asked a high fee to be able to immediately get a confirmation, it will automatically give you a bad effect on the growth of the bitcoin. Because in General, currencies are always rotating in quantity, so that if fee bitcoin unchanged then the entrepreneurs who have a rotation of funds per day which is always solid will not use bitcoin, because it will definitely be considered inefficient
 

I agree this problem need to be solved but if the solution is forking then we will have a big problem, the price will fall down deeply, but if bitcoin want to become a favorite currency to do global transaction then the fee and the speed transaction need to be fixed, if these issue can be solved then we dont need to be worry, the price will sky rocket

It was but obvious for bitcoin price to fall because it was not the genuine growth due to the demand for the usage but it was from speculators who was trying to make profits out of it. Yes, I still believe that some lower figures are possible in this period and yet we are going to stand somewhere between $3,500 to $5,000 at the end of this year. This is quite an important factor which will have an impact on the price of bitcoin. I think people will withdraw their money from bitcoin when we will reach near 1st August because here lot of people are worried and not sure what will happen after hard fork. I think bitcoin price will depreciate at that time.

It will depend on how community will react to that August 1st issue. But for me, Im positive that this whales just create a panic and we will see that again while August is coming so that they can take the opportunity to buy cheap coins. Just my speculation and I don't have any basis or proof to support my claims.

I personally don't really worry about what's going to happen, but I can understand why others aren't looking forward to the possible negative aspects. I was initially looking to use altcoins as some sort of a temporary safe haven for around 25% of my Bitcoin holdings, but I am glad I didn't actually do so. I will just make sure I have extra fiat aside for when the price starts tanking significantly, and that alone is already enough for me. My target is to finally have 20 BTC, and this might actually speed things up a bit.

This current ERA is the strongest point of bitcoins adoption so I'm not totally worried if theres certain downfall will be happen since I know bitcoins price will climb back again and many speculators still speculates positively on what would be the outcome of the price for those upcoming years and mostly majority of them gives positive response. And bitcoin will surely be alive for many years with higher $ value on his head.
