Would Bitcoin ending up like Yahoo in the future?

Yahoo was the first (?) search engine at the time when Internet started.  It was the pioneer in its field.  In the late 90's its market cap reached to a high closed to $120B.   Three and a half years after Yahoo started, Google came out and gradually took away market share from Yahoo.

After 22 years, Verizon bought it for $4.8B.  Would Bitcoin ending up like Yahoo in the future and got beat up by new competitions?

no one knows here what would and could happen to the future. Maybe some fork would takeover the bitcoin network in the near future because of slow network. More demand is comming for bitcoin = more transaction  = more unconfirmed transactions and high fees. I think some altcoin would takeover bitcoin.

I think so. Let say some happen in future, Bitcoin users has been growth rapipdly.
many transactions that creates every day, it could be a miner pool will be got many problem to speeding up process of confirm every transaction. addition default cost for each transaction charge more high. it is not impossible that this technology will decline and people will switch to another suitable finance system which can faster to processing and of course charge for cheaper cost.

And we must prepare for such a scenario, although the chances are minimal. But my guess is that in case if Bitcoin goes down and another crypto-currency replaces it, it may be one of the Bitcoin clones rather than one of these proper alts such as Ethereum...

Even though there will be a down for bitcoin then it is not enough to tell that bitcoin will be going to replaced by another type of cryptocurrenecy like the ethereum and other type of its clone because bitcoin is very strong and it already passes a lot of problems and hindrances and that is enough that bitcoin can survive for more long years and it will not be like yahoo in the future.

It can be but i do not think so because even experts and people of wall street said that it will be the future and every billionaire invests in bitcoin and they make a lot out of it if they trust why shouldn't we trust it we all so want to make money out of it.

Nothing can keeps its power forever, Bitcoin is also a currency normally, it can replaces by other currencies in someday if Bitcoin does not have power enough to supply all users.
Recently, I always use Ethereum for my transaction because the time to get confirmation through Ethereum faster than Bitcoin a lot, just 1-2 minutes.

I don't think that same thing will happen to Bitcoin. In the first place, yahoo and bitcoin are two different things so there's a huge possibility that both will end up different. And also, unlike yahoo, Bitcoin is an open source system meaning, no one owns it since it is decentralized which is one of its characteristics. So in my opinion, Bitcoin will be more successful than yahoo in the future.

Nothing can keeps its power forever, Bitcoin is also a currency normally, it can replaces by other currencies in someday if Bitcoin does not have power enough to supply all users.

Probably, Ethereum could be used more if the future as an alternative transaction or payment to replace bitcoin.

Bitcoin will not ending up like yahoo in the future, because bitcoin is an investment that accept by the people and it will continue to grow and popular. They are difference because bitcoin is very useful. It will not ending up because bitcoin is a currency and kinds of investment. Maybe or maybe not, we cant really tell. Coz as of today Bitcoin is in demand, a lot of investors we're attracted to it. Although theres a lot of altcoins competing, specially ETH is close and almost catching up with BTC.
 Maybe in the future BTC could be replaced with another innovative crypto currency, but you cant take away the fact that BTC is the first successful crypto that was created, and the idea of it remains original.

I can't accept this statement at all.Bitcoin is not like yahoo and bitcoin won't be end up like yahoo in future. Bitcoin will bring revolution in future. It will be reach 8k-10 in the eand of this year i think.

I saw a video. It was about banks think that bitcoin is not money, just virtual cash or some sort. That in the near future there will be a revolution that will bring the fall of bitcoin. It somehow made me think. If its true, it is a little scary. But im still hoping for bitcoin will remain strong as it is right now.

This type of scenario can also happen with Bitcoin as because this is the common rule of the world. People like the best option they have and it depends on us the developers that what options should be given to users. Bitcoin especially famous for its price violation and transparent network. Nowadays almost any old coin has this feature but they are not much accepted all over the world like Bitcoin and in addition to that they have very low transaction fees and we don't know what will happen with them in the future , they can also end up like Bitcoin is right now.

I did not see the price of Ethereum increases recently. The altcoin is threatening the price of Bitcoin is Bitcoin Cash and the value of Bitcoin has increased more than 300% within 1 week. And beside that, the idea of Ethereum platform is defferent Bitcoin, it uses smart contract and helps all deal through blockchain become safe more.

I am the biggest fan or follower or well wishes for bitcoin may be I have argued in this thread for there is no possibility for bitcoin to become like yahoo. But current scenario make us to think twice I feel it’s even go worse than yahoo of greedy people started to play like this.

Bitcoin its not a company ! bitcoin its a decentralized network which nobody have the total control ( miners its a other story... ) and the bitcoin can turn unusual, but the bitcoins network will never turn down while we have at least one node saving the blockchain.

There is a chance that this kind of scenario would happen but I don't think it will happen in the future.
Bitcoin is used mainly as a store of wealth and asset, not as currency now days because the value of one Bitcoin is high enough that people are lazy enough to use calculate fraction of Bitcoin just for one transactions. It will be used as the digital gold and I'm pretty sure about it.

Anything can happen in the financial world and maybe one day we will talk about bitcoin as a backward service.
Google beated Yahoo because it was offering a better services which encouraged users to move from using yahoo to google, so if a crypto will do that to bitcoin it has to come with new services to its costumers and such thing can't happen overnight and we will see it coming.

At a certain time anything can become obsolete. This is called progress. So untill something else comes along that can do the things bitcoin can do faster and also more, then bitcoin will get surpassed. But before this happens decades might have passed. Nothing lasts forever, otherwise we would still be stuck living as cavemen.
