Well I agree when the price is down many will use it to buy more but no way I don't want to see it back again at $500. $2,000 is already good for me.

OP I have just one question. Seems you are very positive about bitcoin and think that since it's going down, it's right time to buy and than when you'll buy, it will rise and you get profit. Hm, sounds very funny, everything would be good if it's going how it's wished. What will you do if you sell bitcoin now and wow, it rised quickly.
Bitcoin is lucky sometimes but still to my mind so blind actions aren't correct.

I agree we have to be positive but we must also be prepared. This summer will be turbulent (chain split, UASF, UAHF ...) but i believe the best way to survive is to hold (hodl) and be up-to-date with any new information.  Sub $1000 prices is a possibility. Lets hope a scaling agreement is achieved before the FUD sets BTC back another 2-3 years.

Selling a bunch of Bitcoin could mean that they are willing to get less Bitcoin when the price of Bitcoin goes up. I think that the people like to make bunch of money during the short term and when the price goes up they regret that they sold their coins when the price was at a low price.

Im expecting some definite turbulence after August. It wouldn't surprise me to see 1500 again during these times. It also wouldn't surprise me if this is when ETH's marketcap finally outpaces Bitcoin as people try to escape the "crash". That being said, I have full confidence that bitcoin will continue rising purely because of the natural progression of bubbles.

If one BTC can be valued at 2500 today with all of it's problems, the enthusiasm bitcoin will have after these issues are taken care of might drive us higher.

As long as google trends shows a rising interest in bitcoin, and there's no "Mt Gox" type of news coming out (I can't deny that a poorly organized hard fork could be exactly this type of news), I will be bullish. I tend to think that most of these rises are caused by new people figuring out about bitcoin and starting a mania.

It has very little to do with the underlying technology and a hell of alot more to do with human psychology. That's how TSLA and cryptocoins can hold speculative value because of their FUTURE prospects, regardless of how hard it will be to acheive or how well their business is currently doing. Most humans are too lazy to sit down and figure out the probability of something happening.

For instance, most of the people entering the bitcoin space atm don't even know how to use a BTC address. I've seen so many screenshots of "Coinbase wallets" and I tell every single person not to store it there. I've been offered $250 to buy coins from Polo and send to their wallet so they don't have to learn. This is our competition. Don't think too hard about it, I can promise they aren't haha.

As if those people will really bought during the dips. There are lots of people like that saying they will buy at $1,500, $1,000 or $500 but in reality they don't. And then when the price increase they will say, "Oooppss I forgot to buy @ $$$ , $$$ , $$$. Too pathetic.

Well Im positive for what will be the outlook of August event. Im sure bitcoin price will move forward after that positive thing/s that will happen after that. But for preparations prior to that, I do some of the recommendations.

I have the feeling that there will not be a hard fork at the end. I think the group that reached the New York agreement will meet again or they will change some terms of the former agreement or something. The hard fork is too risky, it can be two coins but only one can be bitcoin, two can coexist but only one can lead, if we take the example of Ethereum only one can be the ETH. For big companies to stay at the weak chain after a theorical hard fork could be a disaster, too risky.

If you are newbie and you bought bitcoin in high price you should not to panic to sell your bitcoin because bitcoin price drop is normal its always happening every year that we are seeing large drop after the price increase.. So if you don't want to lose your bitcoin better to stay hold your bitcoin and wait for the price increase back again.. If you panic today and sell your bitcoin except that you will lose..
We are just seeing that the other traders are convert into ethereum base on the price increase from ethereum after the last drop of bitcoin..
So invest also in altcoin just to make a profit from the price increase because ethereum right now is increasing too fast..

We have experienced the destruction of the price when mtgox got hacked, so there's nothing to worry about. bitcoin price is still too high even though the price is 200 dollars it is still high. Anyway the price is currently going up it's about 2400 dollars or so at this point, lucky for those who purchased when it touched 2100+ dollars, i personally will not selling my bitcoin at least in this period, bitcoin is very promissing as a long term investment.

If only I was taking the opportunity to buy more and I wasn't completely out of money in exchanges, then sure. I'd have bought some during the dip, and I was kind of sad that I had nothing in exchanges when it went that far down.

It doesn't matter to me, though, since I'm just here to ride the tiger at this point. There's not much I can do than keep going on and doing what I've already been doing, and I am fully content with doing something like that.

This is true. Bitcoin's value sometimes go up and sometimes go down. In other words if there would be apump there would be a dump first. So patience is the word. Bitcoins' price will go up again, for the exchanger and for the buyers of bitcoin buy bitcoins now this is the time on buying. Next week there would be a pump on price.
