Because Etherscan shows that CAT is registered to BlockCAT.

The Bitclave guys are also trying to use CAT, but they will be disappointed.

Yes and also Blockcat is a ERC20 and the exchange is EtherDelta, I didn't even think there was another Catcoin haha. Just looked into it and looks more of a fun/jokecoin really, no offense  Also I guess the nice pop is due to the release of Alpha. So exciting weeks ahead from now on! Go CAT GO!

I appreciate projects like this that allow value to speak rather than marketing; while marketing will eventually propel us, its use case is geared towards mass adoption.

I am very excited about this one, I hope the team can deliver it the way they envisioned it.

The project is good, but needs some marketing for sure. Also i would recommend to rebrend the name. Nobody knows what is blockcat and as mentioned above by some scammers it could be wrongly associated with catcoin.

So, basically cat holders are holding nothing beyond the (limited at your will) opportunity to use your platform in the future, right?
You are not sharing platform profits, nor profits linked to intellectual property of your idea. You are selling tokens that in the future could be used to use your software.

CAT has several key functions with respect to the BlockCAT platform:

• CAT will be the only means of paying for contract deployment.
• CAT owners will be allowed to participate in milestone completion votes, which will be used to unlock reserves for BlockCAT expenditure.
• CAT will serve as the primary mechanic for verifying third-party marketplace smart contracts in a decentralized and secure way.

We're listed on CoinMarketCap as CAT. If you search for CAT on their website it shows both and lets you pick between CatCoin or BlockCAT.

Hi guys, I just added BlockCAT to my blockfolio, though the symbol they have is the one of Catcoin, the other cat, . The price is right, the name shows Blockcat, but symbol is a Cat and it reads CAT.   Surely soon we'll have our own symbol on there too!
