Just received reminder bitcoin dropped a lot, the price of the last week is very unstable, leading to other competing currencies continued to fall, there is no bottom line of that kind of fall, I would like to ask you tycoons on how to look at the future market?
It is true that the bitcoin is like a roller coaster. There is a time that the price will go up and there is also a time that the price is rapidly increasing. It is really hard to predict if the price will increase or decrease. That's why being a bitcoin trader is not an easy job. Yes that is true that Bitcoin is so volatile that you can't even blink your eye close or you will be left behind if you do but I think with this past 1 year of Bitcoin's market it showed up a positive growth in the market even though it is a roller coaster ride at least it never breaks your heart if you are a long term investors instead I feel sorry to those weak hearted people that just got in and when sees the price is getting low they tend to go out that resulting for their losses. Bitcoin is a roller coaster that always goes up despite of some lows. |

It is true that the bitcoin is like a roller coaster. There is a time that the price will go up and there is also a time that the price is rapidly increasing. Bitcoin is volatile but the rate is stable within the last 2 months, hopefully bullish run this year never ends. Looking at YTD graph from ~1k USD (Jan 1) to 7k USD (November 4) that is a 10-month duration with ~700% increase in value. If you are a day trader, volatility, most of the time is not on your side but if you are a long term investor, you just have to wait the right timing to earn big cash. Some say it could reach 10k USD, that's just wishful thinking but it is possible. Almost every application now has adjusted to using bitcoin.

Yes, that is true, bitcoin beginning of the year is less than $1000 and look at where we are and where we are heading. This roller coaster ride that we have seen will most likely continue but that's what we love on this market, it can either make or break you as a trader, although I quit trading long time ago, I'm sure that most of us here enjoy this kind of price swing and volatility, and its up to us how to take advantage of it. Yes $10000 is really huge, but with this kind of short runs, we can possibility push the price to this level, but I believed that is not gonna be this year though, I'm seeing it to be hit somewhere first quarter of next year. |

I think almost all coins has that kind of characteristics since the demand for it really decreases and increases in due time so no doubt bitcoin is like a roller coaster indeed. The only advantage of bitcoin is that it has huge numbers of that uses it and if the demand keep on increasing the price or its value will be synonymous too and that's how volatility explains.

Maybe sometimes we called bitcoin a roller coaster becaue of its price in the market is volatile,due to some many circumstances.bitcoin characteristic value is depend on its supply and demand in the block chain ,sometimes the value will pump due to lack of investment,or bitcoiner hold their coins because of hardfork coming,while some instances btc will pump because btc supply is more demanded in the market,in this scenario the things we called it roller coaster. |

That is the nature of bitcoin but what is important is that we will be able to take advantage on the price movement, we can buy low and sell high then make money. New investors do panic when the price dump but you knowing that it's normal will never panic but instead will just buy it because you know you can sell it at a profit when bitcoin starts to pump again, it's a cycle so we have to position ourselves in order to buy and sell at the right timing. |

It is almost accepted by all bitcoin users that Bitcoin is a roller coaster. When we see the rate chart of bitcoin it proves that roller coaster is not finish and it is continuing only. So bitcoin users most of the time don't want to book their profit as nothing is predictable as the price is getting high and higher so we are getting no option then wait for more. Life need more and more it is endless. I don't want to sell bitcoin as I believe the price will mark the all time high in few months and non of the cryptocurrencies will match bitcoin.

Argh , sometimes i think bitcoin price its hard to go moon , but i make a mistake , i sell my btc on rate 5000$/1btc. I cant think again , why i do panic sell and scared the btc price will go down , but i fail on my predict , the price is raise more than 7000$ nowww.  But i learn some mistake from past and never do this mistake on future. |

after seeing the increase of bitcoin price until $74xx, we are now seeing the price is down until $73xx and we don't know where the price will go and we can only waiting and see the price is up again or down too far. if there is any big different price from buy and sell then i think we can make profit for this and we can add more bitcoin into our wallet and we can expecting the price is rise again. just be careful because we are to see the hard fork and maybe the price will be down again.

yes, bitcoin is the same as roller coaster. I think it has already happened since the beginning bitcoin has a price. but, the bitcoin roller coaster always goes up higher. and very unstable.

What Op has stated is true, it is truly similar to the Rollercoaster ride. Because the price goes down and increases with time. This fluctuations were quite common with digital currencies, one who understands can benefit out of the same. Another thing is that we need the patience to use it at the right time of growth. |

YUP, All cryptocurrency will eventually fluctuates time after time, this is the way investor's will took advantage to buy and sell alt-coins to earn profit, If you have guts and skills to forecast its chart then its more fun. All you have to do is to monitor most often to your computer in daily basis. The harder you work, The more merrier:)
