I'm still holding some XRP because of sentimental value. It was the first coin that I bought which went to the moon. However, I don't think there will be much price movement over the coming years, it seems to be fairly priced at the moment.

With some calculations I have seen, their fair value is approximately $0.70 - $0.80 ifa significant number of large banks start using XRP for their transactions. Given that the potential is there, but not realized, I think the current value is fair and will stay there for a while.

Keep in mind that a significant portion of XRP is being held by the founders, so their company market cap is actually quite high already. It's a gamble, but since the upside is a 3x-5x profit, I prefer to gamble with alt coins that have a 10x - 50x potential.

Still seems like a pretty secure coin to hedge other funds.

If you scroll a little bit down there is your "bUt tHeY hOld a sIgNifIcAnT pOrTiOn" it is not significant. Doublehypocrite

Edit: its fair value isnt even on the map yet. You just should check their progress, IMF WEF...they all want a piece of it, but internet expertz are sooo much expert so woow 0.70 is most it can get, because im expert and say so. LoL

Not sure why you have to type so strange, I didn't and it's difficult to read.

The fact is that Ripple owns about 61 percent — or $16 billion worth — of XRP. Whether that's significant or not is perception. You also misunderstood me if you think that's an issue. For me it shows commitment to the product and it's only logical the founders own a significant amount.

However, you should include that amount when calculating the value of the company. The current market cap is ~11B, but you need to realize that the company is therefore valued around ~25B.

Edit: I've just scrolled down on the website and you're probably referring to the "held by Ripple" stats. You need to include the "held in escrow" stats to calculate the market cap. That it's not directly accessible influences the stability of the price (which is the reason why it has been put in escrow) but not the value of the company itself. Additionally they are still owned by the founders, just stored away safely for a while to please investors

Ripple XRP is a long term investment. I have no plans to pull out anytime soon.
