Absolutely. Adjusting the TDP you shoud be able to get 6 cards well under 1000W. BBT has his 8 card 1070 rig at ~820 W.

that psu is ridiculous overkill for just 6 x 1070, which will never go above 1200watt, i think you can do well with the ax 1200i, and save some money there to buy something else

I am talking about dual mining, not single.
I have this option with lower price too: 2xEVGA SuperNOVA 80+ PLATINUM 850W

i think it will work. i plan to run 6 1080ti on the ax1500i on lower TDP and solo mining.

but your 1070s also require 6pin and 6+2pin right? you will be short on cables as the ax1500i comes with 2 cables that are dual 6+2pin and 6 cables that are single 6+2pin.

You can mine whatever you want with it. Dual mining with 8x RX 580s is highly feasible with such a PSU.
