A friend expressed his concern that he only has 100+ stakes on his Blocklancer bounty. I am asking if the said Blocklancer tokens can be used in your website as some sort of digital currency for those who has a few tokens? Can users be able to buy more of these tokens when needed?

ICO is planned for January, so tokens will be available to purchase then. I'm sure they will begin to hit exchanges shortly after.

Most of your question has already been answered by our great community.  

I just want to mention the advantages of hodling the Lancer Token.
A holder of the Lancer Token benefits from the Blocklancer platform in two ways.
- If you hold more than 10,000 Lancer Token you get access to premium features on the Blocklancer platform. After holding more than 10,000 Lancer Tokens for a period of at least 1 month your account will be automatically upgraded to a premium account.
- If you hold Lancer Tokens, you are allowed to participate in the Tokenholder Tribunal. For participating in the Tokenholder Tribunal in an honest and informed way you will be rewarded by a share of the platform fees.

After the ICO you are able to buy/sell more Lancer Token on exchanges.

Only Tokenholders, who hold more than 10,000 Lancer Tokens, for a period longer than 1 month get access to premium features of the platform.
This way we incentivize people, who are interested in the long-term success of Blocklancer. People, who are holding Lancer Tokens purely for speculative reasons and short periods of time, will not be able to use premium features. With the success of the Blocklancer platform the demand for Lancer Tokens will increase, on the other hand the supply for Lancer Tokens will decrease, because premium users will not sell their Tokens, because they would lose access to the premium features.

The premium account includes features such as:

-   Getting access to detailed profile statistics. Know, who viewed your profile and how you can optimize your profile appearance.
-   Only allow the best rated freelancers to apply for your jobs. Your job offers will be predominantly visible to the best freelancers on the platform. Freelancers with no rating or bad rating will not be allowed to apply for your jobs.
-   Your job offers will be higher ranked by our search engine.
-   Your application for a job offer will be ranked above non-premium applicants.
-   Get early access to new features.

As time goes on the value of LNC tokens is bound to increase quite drastically due to the utility aspect of the token, hence 10,000 LNC might become unaffordable for some freelancers (not so much employers).

Thus the question, will the premium account price be dynamic?

Sorry for the late response. I somehow overlooked you question at first glance.

The premium account price isn't planned to be dynamic because we believe that supporters from the first hour should be rewarded in the long run. If you think about it everyone has the chance to buy the tokens at the same price . But I have to admit some feature should never be unbuyable expensive. An option here would be to create another cheaper premium option (with far less features) but instead of buying tokens they need to pay a small fee into the fee pool which later gets paid out to the Token Holder and thus we are able to create a win-win situation.

How does the Blocklancer bounty portal work? I connected my facebook, inserted the link to my profile as well, liked the page and a bunch of posts, 24 hours passed but I still have 0 (zero) stakes. Is it automatic and how much time is needed for the stakes to appear?

That's your product guys. It should be flawless, instead of having to come here and ask questions.
The bounty portal of Signals ICO is perfect. You like in facebook, you hit claim button and after 10 seconds stakes are assigned. You can check it out.

As stated it takes up to a week before your stakes appear. We need to query through all participants when updating and because of the huge limit of facebook api requests it isn't possible to make it faster. We could as well just give you 10 stakes after connecting (would be in less than 10 seconds  ). But we only give stakes out for actual shares and likes and checking this takes time.

To be honest there isn't much reason to make it much faster because everyone receives their tokens after the ICO anyways.

That sounds like a reasonable solution. In either case, as long as you've considered it I'm sure you'll find a good compromise given what you've already delivered so far.

If you think that Blocklancer hasn't done anything worth mentioning you haven't been following closely enough.

And it will be listed on an exchange once the ICO starts and ends in January/February.
They are already communicating with several exchanges so that they can get listed immediately after the ICO behind the scenes.

And the platform is progressing just fine, there's a private alpha phase already and I believe the beta - if there is one - should be anytime now too.

The bounty campaign is still going on until the ICO finishes in January.

I'm not aware of any minimum investments though, so you'll have to wait for Blocklancer or thealex to respond to that part of your question. As far as I've understood the website 1 ETH will simply be subject to a bonus for whitelisting. But I could be wrong on this, so it's best if you wait for further clarification.

I'm quite happy with the ICO timing too. Waves going to climb quite a bit next week with the new implementations, so I'll get some good extra profits to reinvest into Blocklancer just in time.


Another thing I've been wondering about: Will we get a new signature for the ICO launch to make sure that people are aware that the sale is going on in January?
