"These funds" mean all the tokens sold on the crowdsale or just mean the tokens hold by the team and spectiv site?

It refers to funds received from the crowdsale. This is to ensure token purchasers that their funds are being used specifically for development and cannot be unlocked unless development has been achieved.

I see. Is that means all the ICO tokens buyers will get their coins over three separate period? For example, 1/3 immediately, 1/3 after milestone 1 and the left in milestone 2.   

No, what it means is that the Dev team won't get funds released to them right away to protect investors in case things don't work out.

Correct, buyers will receive all of their tokens following the crowdsale closing. We are choosing to have an escrow on the funds we raise to show our commitment to this project, and to show that we are serious about developing the platform. That is why we are releasing the funds in waves upon completion of specific milestones.

It looks good, rather than releasing all of the amounts at the same time that will be better because to makes the development goes smoothly. I know that the dev has serious commitment with this project.
VR still being a good chance right now.

I think that is a bad idea, the fund should be released to the team as the complete the one milestone after the other, releasing all the fund at once will make them release and have nothing to work for, since most of these ICO terms is called contribution and not investment

I often wonder if decentralization is actually useful to virtual reality platforms where it seems VR is still in the fringe markets. Dev, can you say something this?

I waited until the interview to decide and decided now that I won't be participating in the ICO.

Here are the problems I have:

-Users are going to have to buy VR headgear to use your software.  I personally would not go out to buy VR gear just to use this platform even if the VR gear only cost $20.  This also creates another barrier for someone to use your website.

-You talked too much about youtube/twitch.. and the way you answered questions sounded like it is a dream than you actually having an actionable plan.

-Your token and coin point system is too confusing and seems unnecessary.

-I don't believe you are going to be able to draw viewers to your website.  People also are not going to magically start using your website even if your successfully pull everything off.  You cannot suddenly steal viewers from twitch and youtube and I think your USP is too weak to succeed.

-This one was the deal breaker for me. Your max cap is way too high.  Sure there have been ICOs before you with nothing built and getting a lot of funding, but things are changing and asking for $40m with just a mockup on your website is just insane.  To me it sounds like you are asking for $40m to start a fun school project of yours.

Lastly, VR is always going to be interesting, but from keeping up with the thread and also watching the interview.. I just don't believe you are going to be able to execute.

Also you should have practiced not saying 'like' 'like' before the interview.

Just to be clear, you will be able to watch videos on the platform using your desktop or mobile without any headset. About coins and tokens I think it's just confusing on paper and once implemented it should be easy and intuitive to use. Won't argue with the other points, cause it's your personal opinion. Cheers.

It looks like you've picked up my suggestion to heat up the bounty scene. This is an excellent initiative! However, since only one (or very few) bounty hunters will in the end get the 500 signals, to better motivate people to partecipate I'd recommend to think also to some little "consolation bounties" for those who come up with a good video, which unfortunatelly is not good enough to make it to the top. After all, a good video takes anyway a lot of time and effort to be done, and many will not chose to go through the process if they are not reasonably sure to have a chance to win.
